The popular business reality show, Shark Tank India, garnered much attention when it released its first season in 2021. The show is the Indian franchise of the American show, Shark Tank and features entrepreneurs making business proposals to the panel of investors, also called as sharks. The first season’s panel featured sharks like Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Ashneer Grover, Ghazal Alagh, Namita Thapar, Peyush Bansal and Vineeta Singh.

The show’s success was such that the makers came up with another season in January 2023. In season 2, CarDekho founder, Amit Jain replaced BharatPe founder, Ashneer Grover. Many loved the second season, while many criticised the makers for making it melodramatic. And now, the show is returning in January 2024 with its third season and six new sharks.
