Saif Ali Khan and his mother, Sharmila Tagore recently graced the latest episode of Koffee With Karan 8. The mother-son duo unveiled many unheard anecdotes from their personal lives and entertained the viewers. From spilling the beans about Saif-Amrita's ugly breakup to lauding Kareena Kapoor's simplicity, Sharmila made many shocking revelations on the show.
Now, another video from KWK 8 has surfaced online, wherein Karan Johar asked Sharmila Tagore to talk about her bond with her son, Saif Ali Khan. The host further mentioned that there is something special about Sharmila and Saif's relationship, and asked the actress how she would describe it in words. To this, Sharmila said:
"Putra moh."

Reacting to Sharmila's statement, Karan Johar quipped, "What Putra Moh?" Soon, Saif chipped in, "Oh, Putra Moh, Bengali?" Sharmila looked at him surprisingly and being her sassy self, said:
"Excuse me, you are a Hindi actor. Can't you understand Putra?"
Then, Saif and Karan try to comprehend the meaning of the phrase, and Saif said, "Oh moh as in Gulmohar". Listening to him, Sharmila burst out laughing. Well, it didn't just stop there. Saif further added, "Putra moh in Bengali means my son." Shockingly, Sharmila quipped:
"Oh my god. I give up. Moh means attachment."

Now that the video is widely being circulated on social media, netizens have reacted to the same. One user commented, "I love how Sharmila says 'Excuse me! You're the Hindi actor,' instead of simply explaining it to him and saving him embarrassment." Another penned, "How Saif is Sharmila freaking Tagore's son and descendant of Rabindranath Tagore is beyond me." Meanwhile, a third person wrote, "Saif was always dumb...he's the male version of Bebola...its just when they got together, their team did this very curated image of his to show he's super intelligent and a nawabi gentleman!"

In 1968, Sharmila Tagore had tied the knot with the legendary cricketer, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. They were blessed with three kids, Saif Ali Khan, Saba Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan. While Saif and Soha took the acting career, Saba is a jewellery designer by profession. Saif was earlier married to Amrita Singh, with whom he is blessed with two kids, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Later, after parting ways, Saif tied the knot for the second time with Kareena Kapoor and the couple was blessed with two sons, Taimur and Jehangir. On the other hand, Soha married Kunal Kemmu and was blessed with a daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. Time and again, the family is seen together proving their love for each other.
