Sanjay Leela Bhansali's niece, Sharmin Segal, has been hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons ever since the release of the web series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Initially, Sharmin was mocked for her acting spree in the magnum opus, and now, she has been slammed for her attitude towards her co-stars. For some time now, netizens have been digging out videos from promotional interviews, which show how Sharmin has been disrespectful towards other actors. And this time was no different!
In yet another video shared on Reddit, Sharmin Segal can be seen disrespecting her Heeramandi co-star, Aditi Rao Hydari. Calling Aditi a 'school girl', Sharmin took a sarcastic dig at the former's punctuality, portraying her as overly rigid. The Malaal actress can be heard saying:
"Aditi is a good school girl, please understand that. Teacher will say you have to submit your home work at this time and Aditi will do exactly that and not one more word than the word count limit. That is Aditi for you. So, according to her everyone is late and she is on time."

As the video surfaced online, netizens were clearly miffed by Sharmin Segal's sarcastic tone. Calling the actress out for her attitude, many social media users slammed her for being disrespectful towards Aditi. A user wrote, "She does not know how to speak gracefully and lacks social cues." Another commented, "Sharmin, darling, you're digging the grave of your career right in front of everyone, which I don't think is a bad thing because we don't want to see you on screens but atleast have some self awareness."

Earlier, a video of Sharmin Segal surfaced online, wherein she was seen getting into a disagreement with Aditi Rao Hydari over her statement about actors. In the clip, Sharmin was heard saying, “Actor ki jaat insecure hoti hai.” However, her statement didn't go down well with Aditi, who immediately disagreed with her and interjected, “Nahi but actors are human beings.” Sharmin further tried to clarify her stance and mentioned that insecurity brings out the best in every actor. Reacting to Sharmin's comment, Aditi said:
“No no, insecurity is horrible. No, I don’t like it.”

Meanwhile, in an interview with Puja Talwar, Aditi Rao Hydari shared her reaction to Sharmin Segal facing mean comments for her performance in Heeramandi. Speaking about the same, Aditi mentioned that it's unfair to pick on someone and be mean towards them for no reason. Adding that she feels bad for Sharmin, Aditi said:
"It's horrible to pick on anybody. I know some people like something and some people don't. There is a way to say it. It can get very mean. It has gotten very mean and I think it's not fair and it shouldn't happen like that. I don't know what else to say but I do feel bad. I think we should all understand it and be there for each other.”
