Sharon Osbourne Heartbroken Over The Death Of Her 'Darling' Dog After 14 Years By Her Side

2025 has not been kind to the Osbourne family. Sharon Osbourne shared that their ‘darling’ dog passed away months after Ozzy Osbourne’s death. Ozzy was laid to rest in Birmingham on July 30, 2025. She took to her social media and shared the sad news that their 14-year-old dog, Elvis, had died, as reported by PEOPLE. She announced the news on Instagram on October 19, 2025, posting four photos that included herself, Ozzy, and Elvis. Sharon and her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, both poured their hearts out on social media over the death of Elvis, their furry companion.

Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22, 2025, and his wife and daughter are mourning the loss of yet another beloved family member. Sharon announced the news of her dog's death on Instagram on October 19, 2025, posting four photos that included herself, Ozzy, and Elvis. She wrote: 

"I can't believe I am posting this but my darling Elvis passed away this week (October 19, 2025) He gave me 14 precious [years]. He was by my side until the end. Rest in peace my darling boy!"

Kelly Osbourne, daughter of the pop culture power couple, also shared a post, expressing her love and paying tribute to her dog. She shared a carousel of two photos with her dog and one video of herself with Elvis, in which Kelly wrote, that we have lost Elvis this week and our guardian angel has left us. Elvis has not left my side since my dad passed. He helped get me through the darkest moment of my life. She wrote:

"I keep trying to find a positive in all of this, and the only thing I can come up with is that maybe my dad needed him," Kelly continued. "Life can be so cruel, but also give you many treasures. We were so lucky to have Elvis for 14 years. Thank you for all the love Elvis you were on of a kind. I love you sleep well sweet prince, until we meet again!" Before Ozzy’s passing, they also lost their 15-year-old Pomeranian, Rocky, in August 2024.

Ozzy Osbourne died from a heart attack

A few months ago, Ozzy Osbourne passed away due to a heart attack in July 2025. Ozzy’s death certificate confirms he died of a heart attack and had long been living with coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease. Sharon, in her post, also said that her dog was there after Ozzy’s death. Ozzy’s funeral took place on July 30, 2025, in Birmingham, England, his hometown.

Ozzy Osbsorne and Sharon Osbourne married on July 4, 1982, in Hawaii. The couple first met in 1970, and their steamy romance started after Ozzy finalised his divorce from his first wife, Thelma Riley, in 1982. Their marriage faced significant struggles, including Ozzy’s infidelity and abuse, which led to the duo’s temporary separation in 2013.

Eventually, Sharon forgave him and reconciled their wedding vows in Las Vegas in 2017, calling it their ‘real wedding day.’ Soon after, on September 2, 1983, the couple welcomed their first child, Aimée, followed by Kelly on October 27, 1984, and Jack on November 8, 1985. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in July 2022 and remained married until Ozzy's death in July 2025.
