Shefali Jariwala's death left the internet in deep shock after her untimely passing on June 27, 2025. The actress is survived by her husband, Parag Tyagi. The couple was madly in love with each other, and Parag looked completely heartbroken after the unfortunate demise of his beloved wife on a normal-looking night. However, the real cause of Shefali's death is not yet known. Amidst it, a video of Shefali's performance from three weeks ago surfaced on the internet.

A video of Shefali's performance surfaced on the internet. The late actress was dressed in a sexy, black-hued, sleeveless gown with a cut-out back. The dress had a bodycon fitting and made Shefali look super pretty. Shefali danced to her superhit song, "Kaanta Laga," and left the audience in awe. The performance was held at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai.

Netizens expressed shock at Shefali's sudden passing, which occurred within three weeks of this video. One user wrote, "She looks so young abhi bhi..I was in class 2 when this song came and I have even starting looking aged but just look at her even now." Another netizen commented, "Will be remembered forever, during the school days we have dance and enjoy a lot in your album song kaanta laga and there's a lot of memories about this song it was a chartbuster song. Rip, gone so soon."

Shefali Jariwala recalled how Kaanta Laga maker turned her into a beautiful swan

In the early 2000s, Shefali rose to immense fame due to her remix of 'Kaanta Laga,' and it became a nationwide sensation. In an interview with Rediff, Shefali talked about how the song had transformed her. She stated that she got the opportunity by luck, as the directors, Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, saw her outside her college one day. Shefali went on to say that she did the song for 'pocket money' and for fun. However, it changed her as the directors acted as her 'fairy godmothers'. They cast their magic and turned her from an 'ugly duckling' into a beautiful swan. She was quoted as saying:

"What I just did for fun, and a little bit of pocket money, it just completely changed my life. They were like fairy godmothers. They came and waved their magic wand and turned this ugly duckling into this beautiful swan. So yeah, it changed my life completely."

Shefali further revealed that she could never have imagined or dreamed of being in the entertainment industry. She was actually focusing on engineering when she was picked up for Kaanta Laga. No one from Shefali's family ever worked as an actor. While she did complete her education, she didn't consider returning to studies, as the song was a big hit.

Shefali Jariwala's longtime doctor talked about her health condition in an interview with ABP News. The doctor revealed she had no serious medical condition and wasn't on heart-related medication. Not only this, but the doctor also shared that Shefali had been undergoing anti-ageing treatment for the past five to six years.
