As tributes pour in from across the country, an eerie detail has surfaced: Shefali’s very last post on X (formerly Twitter) was a heartfelt tribute to her ex-boyfriend and fellow Bigg Boss 13 contestant, Sidharth Shukla, who also passed away unexpectedly in 2021.

For the unversed, Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla was found dead in his residence on September 2, 2021. The 40-year-old actor had reportedly died after suffering a cardiac arrest. Shefali, who also died after a suspected cardiac arrest, had shared a heartfelt memory of them embracing on the Bigg Boss set, along with the caption:

“Thinking of you today mere dost @sidharth_shukla.”

Fans now can’t help but wonder at the uncanny irony of fate that just months after her last tweet, Shefali herself succumbed to what’s believed to be the same cause, leaving fans heartbroken and social media flooded with tributes and emotional reactions.

“See, initially we bonded and then we had a bad fight. After he came back from the secret room, our equation got better. Both of us are very logical people. Also, we have similar interests, we would talk about travel, space, bullet trains and whatnot. Even after we stopped dating, we were always cordial whenever we bumped into each other.”

Shefali and Sidharth’s camaraderie was once again evident during their stint together in Bigg Boss 13, a season now unfortunately etched in fans' memories for both its intense dynamics and the heartbreaking loss of two of its brightest stars.
