Shefali Jariwala's Sudden Demise At The Age Of 42: The Reason Behind Her Death 'Isn't Clear Yet'

Kaata Laga fame, Shefali Jariwala bid farewell to the world at the age of 42. Over the course of her career, the actress had taken part in several reality shows and won the hearts of her fans. Shefali was a social butterfly, and she would often connect with her fans and followers through her IG handle. Not only this, Shefali was a wonderful wife to Parag Tyagi and a dutiful daughter to her parents, and would take care of them as a son would have. However, her demise left a permanent scar in the hearts of Shefali's fans and family members, leaving everyone wondering what the possible reason could be.

The reason for Shefali Jariwala's demise isn't clear yet, as reported by the Mumbai police 

It was Vickey Lalwani who first revealed the news of Shefali Jariwala's passing. As per him, the actress was taken to the Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri, but by that time, she had already died, as revealed by the receptionist of the hospital. Vickey couldn't confirm the reason for the actress's demise, but after talking to the doctors of the hospital, it was confirmed that the actress couldn't survive. It was said that Shefali's body was sent to the Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem. Now, Mumbai police revealed that the reason for which Shefali died is still under a cloud.

Talking to ANI, the officials said that Shefali's body was found at around 1 a.m. on June 28, 2025, at her residence in Andheri. After receiving the information, police reached there, and after that, the body was sent to the Cooper Hospital, but the reason for the demise isn't clear yet. The post-mortem report will clarify the reason for Shefali's demise. On the other hand, TOI reported that Shefali Jariwala died of a heart attack. While it was not confirmed, this reason has been quite common to take lives suddenly and unpredictably. Mumbai police can be quoted as saying:

"Shefali Jariwala died at the age of 42. She lived in the Andheri area of Mumbai. Members of her family had reached the hospital with her late last night and she was declared dead by doctors there. Mumbai Police received information around 1 am last night. Postmortem is being done at Cooper Hospital. The cause of death is not yet clear."

On the other hand, the watchman of Shefali Jariwala's residence told IANS that he had no idea how the shocking incident had taken place. As per the watchman, he only opened the gate, and it was only around 1 a.m. when a man arrived and revealed that Shefali had died. The watchman said:

"I opened the gate but I don’t know anything. I’m not sure about this. I only found out around 1 AM when a man told me that Shefali had died."

Shefali Jariwala was spotted outside the hospital after the news of the actress's death was circulated. He was seen devastated, which is quite understandable, given the sudden demise of his wife. However, it was only 5-7 hours before the report was circulated that Parag Tyagi dropped a photo, wherein he was seen in the gym. Shefali's mom and other family members reached the hospital after the sudden demise of the actress, and in several glimpses, her parents and other family members were spotted outside the hospital. In one of the glimpses, Shefali's mom was seen breaking down in tears.
