Shehnaaz Gill Faces Backlash As She Forgets Sidharth Shukla's Death Anniversary, 'Bhul Gaye Ho...'

Actress and Bigg Boss 13 fame, Shehnaaz Gill has built a huge and loyal fan base with her fun personality and strong screen presence. She grabbed a lot of attention because of her rumoured relationship with Bigg Boss 13 contestant, Sidharth Shukla. Fans absolutely loved the bond between them. Recently, the Ikk Kudi actress is facing backlash for not posting any story or post for Sidharth on September 2, 2025, which marks his 4th death anniversary. 

Shehnaaz Gill trolled for not posting any tribute for Sidharth Shukla

On September 1, 2025, Shehnaaz Gill posted a glamorous picture of herself on her Instagram handle, which fans loved and appreciated as well. However, when the actress did not post anything the next day, a few users commented on the post and expressed their disappointment on the same. Fans, who started following her because of the bond she shared with Sidharth, were shocked and disheartened to see that Shehnaaz did not post anything. 

One user commented, "It's 2nd Sep....No Post...Why??" Another user wrote, "Ye lime light zyada nai chalegi!! Jiski buniyaad hi kisi ki maut se fayda uthana ho wo zyada din tak nai chalti." A third user penned, "Shehnaaz mam Siddharth sir ko Bhul gye ho bilkul ik post tk ni upload ki kl unki." Another user said, "Yrr aap kaise bhul skti h aaj k din howww ??????"

Shehnaaz Gill’s relationship with late Sidharth Shukla

Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla met in 2019, when they both participated in the reality show, Bigg Boss 13. During the show, their beautiful bond and playful chemistry won a lot of hearts online. Fans started shipping them together, and called them, 'SidNaaz'. Slowly and gradually, they kept on receiving more and more love from the audience. After Bigg Boss 13 ended, the duo appeared in the music video of Bhula Dunga together, which further increased fan love and also sparked dating rumours. 

However, Sidharth Shukla's tragic death on September 2, 2021, broke millions of hearts, including Shehnaaz's. Even after his death, Shehnaaz kept his memories alive in her life, by paying a tribute to him with the song, Tu Yaheen Hai and by talking about him in interviews. Shehnaaz never missed any chance to post his photo on her social media on Sidharth's birthday or death anniversary, which made fans respect her even more.

She began her career in Punjabi music videos but she became a household name with the reality show, Bigg Boss 13. After the show, she appeared in several music videos. Soon, she got roles in films like Honsla Rakh, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, and Thank You for Coming. 

Later, she launched her own chat show, Desi Vibes With Shehnaaz Gill, in which she has collaborated with several celebs like Shahid Kapoor, Elvish Yadav, Vicky Kaushal, Kapil Sharma and more. Next, she will be seen in the film, Ikk Kudi. The film was supposed to release on September 19, 2025, but because of floods in Punjab, the release has been delayed to October 31, 2025.
