The tragic demise of the late television actor, Sidharth Shukla was quite a heavy shock for the entire film and television industry. However, it had a major impact on Punjabi actress, Shehnaaz Gill, who was in love with him. After his demise, it was Shehnaaz's father, Santokh Singh Sukh, who had helped his daughter in order to regain her consciousness. It was only last year when he had gotten his daughter's name tattooed on his hand, and the pictures from the same had gone viral in no time for all the cute reasons.
There's no doubt in saying that Shehnaaz Gill's father, Santokh Singh Sukh had played a major role in helping his daughter overcome depression and other mental health problems that she had experienced after Sidharth Shukla's demise. However, this time around, the doting father is in the headlines for some sensitive matter, as an anonymous caller threatened to kill him.

According to an ETimes report, Shehnaaz Gill's father, Santokh Singh Sukh received a call from an unidentified caller, who threatened to kill him before Diwali inside his own house. As per the report, the anonymous caller first abused the BJP politician and his family for no reason. After this, he threatened the politician with severe death warnings. Santokh received the call when he was travelling to Tarn Taran from Beas. Soon after receiving the death threat, Shehnaaz's father filed a complaint at the police station and urged the officials to provide him with adequate security. The news has broken the internet in no time, as Shehnaaz's fans are tagging the Punjab police on social media to take proper action against the unidentified caller, who gave death threats to Santokh Singh.
For the unversed, soon after Shehnaaz Gill's father, Santokh Singh Sukh had joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he had already been attacked last year on December 25, 2021, by two men. The tragic incident happened when he was travelling from Amritsar to Beas and had stopped near the Gurdaspuria dhaba for the washroom. That was when two shooters fired four gunshots at his car. However, soon Santokh's security guards saved the politician from the killers.

A few months back, an unseen family photo of Shehnaaz Gill surfaced on social media, and her massive fanbase widely shared it. The reason why it had gone viral in no time was that it was from Shehnaaz's childhood days, and it featured her daddy, Santokh Singh Sukh, her mother, Parminder Kaur Gill and her doting brother, Shehbaz Badesha. In the priceless frame, while Shehbaz could be spotted sitting on his mom's lap, Shehnaaz looked the cutest while sitting on her father's lap. However, Shehnaaz's uncanny resemblance with her dearest daddy caught everyone's attention, and it was a moment of pure father-daughter goals.
If the reports are to be believed, Santokh Singh Sukh has told Punjab Police that he would abandon the state if proper security is not provided.
