The actor was one of the few celebrities, who had raised their voice in the fight to seek justice in late Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's case. However, the strong man is at his lowest at the moment, after his mother's demise.

The actor has shared multiple heartbreaking posts on Twitter after his mother's demise. Also, his son and actor, Adhyayan Suman dropped some rare pictures with his grandmother from their beautiful time together.
On June 18, 2021, Shekhar Suman took to his Twitter handle and confirmed the ongoing reports about his mother, Usha Prasad's demise. The veteran actor penned a heart-wrenching note in her tweet, in which he stated that he feels like an orphan now. Shekhar Suman's tweet can be read as "My beloved Mother whom I loved the most in this world left for her heavenly abode yday. I feel orphaned and devastated.Thank you Ma for being there for all of us all the time.i will miss you till my last breath. Thank you all for your prayers and blessings."
There's no denying that losing a parent is always the greatest loss of a person's life. That is the same reason why Shekhar Suman is completely inconsolable at the moment. Everyone witnessed a glimpse of it, when on June 19, 2021, Shekhar took to his Twitter handle once again and shared a memorable family picture. However, once again, it was Shekhar Suman's painful note in his tweet that broke everyone's hearts as he penned an emotional thought in it. Shekhar's tweet can be read as "Pranaam Ma...meri janam janmantar ki Ma..mere har janam mein hone waali.Ma.meri achi sachchi sundar Ma."

After some moments, Shekhar Suman's actor-son, Adhyayan Suman took to his IG handle and dropped some rare pictures with his grandmother. While some pictures are from their fun time, some are from their family trips. But the pictures speak volumes about their beautiful bond with each other.
Adhyayan Suman penned a long note along with the pictures and called his grandmother the 'strongest'. His note can be read as "Dear DadiMaa, You were a woman of discipline, you were fearless, you were the strongest, you were selfless, you were and still are loved by many! You are the example of a fighter who lived life happily without complaining about anything."
Adhyayan Suman also talked about his grandmother, Usha Prasad's fight against kidney transplant and concluded his statement by saying, "You were always with us, looking out for us. We're all heartbroken but also know you'd want us to celebrate your beautiful years even after your kidney transplant and a few episodes of sickness which you fought bravely."
