Shhyamali De CLARIFIES She Is Not Seeking 'Sympathy' After Ex-Husband, Raj's Wedding With Samantha

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker, Raj Nidimoru got married as per yogic wedding rituals. The couple was surrounded by their close family and friends at the Linga Bhairavi temple at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore on December 1, 2025. However, right after the wedding, a lot of buzz started making rounds on how Raj Nidimoru was still married to Shhyamali De. Now, the filmmaker's first wife clarified that she doesn't need attention or sympathy at this time. 

Shhyamali De penned a strong note on not looking for attention or sympathy

Taking to her Instagram stories, Shhyamali De shared a post expressing gratitude for the support she received. Later, she shared another Instagram story, clarifying that she is not looking for any 'sympathy' at this moment. She added that people who are looking for drama and breaking news won't find it with her. Shhyamali further added that she doesn't need attention, media coverage, exclusive interviews, brand partnerships, or sympathy, as she is not trying to sell anything. Shhyamali De said:

"Anyone looking for any drama and breaking news. You won't find it here. Urge you to leave. Not looking for attention, media coverage, exclusive interviews, brand promotions, paid partnerships, sympathy. Not trying to sell anyone anything."

When Shhyamali De shared a sleepless night after Raj Nidimoru's second wedding with Samantha Ruth Prabhu

Earlier, in a note on Instagram, Shhyamali mentioned that she had spent a sleepless night tossing and turning. She realised that it would be ungrateful not to recognise the goodness that came her way and the support she received. A part of her IG story can be read as:

"I spent a sleepless night, tossing and turning and debating and realised it would be ungrateful and churlish to not acknowledge all the good that is coming to me."

When Shhyamali De's friend's note further hinted of Raj Nidimoru still being married to her

Amid Raj and Samantha’s wedding, all eyes are on the filmmaker's first wife, Shhyamali De. Unverified reports claim that he cheated on his ex-wife, Shhyamali, and her cryptic posts further fueled to the rumours, right after Samantha dropped hints of her relationship with filmmaker. Amidst it, Shhyamali’s friend reposted her post and penned a note atop it, which made many wonder if Raj was actually married to Shhyamali. The note could be read as:

“To all those who are asking me, the last time I checked, she was married and the last time was now.”

Talking about Raj Nidimoru's personal life, he was earlier married to Shhyamali De. Their marriage lasted for seven years until they parted ways. Many people claim that they had a daughter, as some pictures of three surfaced on the internet. Many wondered if Samantha was dating a married man, and some even called her a home wrecker. But in reality, Raj was single when Samantha started dating him. He got divorced from his first wife, Shhyamali, in 2022. Also, it is worth noting that Raj doesn't have any children from Shhyamali, and the kid he was spotted with was his co-director, Krishna DK's daughter.
