Indian cricketer, Shikhar Dhawan has been ruling the cricket grounds with his exceptional talents. However, he faced many lows in his personal life due to his troubled past with his ex-wife, Aesha Mukherjee. Ever since the duo's separation, the cricketer has been missing his 10-year-old son, Zoravar, whom he had not met for over six months. Now, in a recent conversation, Shikhar Dhawan opened up about his divorce and revealed how he yearns to meet his son, who lives in Australia with his mom.
In an interview with the ETimes, Shikhar Dhawan opened up about his personal life and separation from Aesha Mukherjee. When he was asked about his frequent social media posts about his son, whom he misses dearly, the cricketer said that he doesn't believe in washing his dirty linen in public. However, he mentioned that he shares whatever he thinks is important and said:
"If someone asks me about my personal life, I tell them whatever I can. But yes, I will never wash my dirty linen in public. Main kabhi kisi ki buraiyaan karne nahi aaunga in public. Jo bata sakta hoon, wo zarur bataunga. For instance, there are so many things that happen in the Indian (cricket team's) dressing room. But now that I am not playing, it doesn't mean I would leak those things. It is against my ethics."

Talking about expressing his longing to meet his son, Zoravar, Shikhar shared that he has the platform to share his views and inspire other people out there. However, he added that he is not spreading negativity and just wants other boys to learn from his experience. Elaborating on the same, the cricketer said:
"It is a natural feeling for a father to have towards his son. God has given me a platform and people love me, so if I come out in the open and share my experience and that benefits someone, then usse badi aur acchi kya baat ho sakti hai. There are so many fathers who cannot meet their children. When I came out about what I experienced in my life, it gave inspiration to those fathers. Even I have been inspired by so many. I am not spreading negativity. When I spoke about my marriage, I admitted I was inexperienced. I am open about it. Tomorrow some boy might learn from my experience."
Shikhar Dhawan had an ugly separation from his ex-wife, Aesha Mukherjee, and has been living alone since then. When asked about finding love again, the cricketer mentioned that, currently, there is no special woman in his life. He added:
"I am single and very happy being single. I feel happy and grateful about the love I get from people. I embrace it. I used to dream about it."
