Shilpa Shetty had added ‘Kundra’ to her surname by tying the knot with a businessman, Raj Kundra on November 22, 2009. She is the diva of Bollywood, who has raised the temperature with her oh-so-perfect looks. The duo had completed ten years of marital bliss and have been giving couple goals to the millennials. What started as a business meeting had turned into something more precious for Raj and Shilpa, and their love story is no less than a fairytale.
Amidst the ongoing pandemic, celebrities were seen taking the ‘Safe Hands Challenge’. From Deepika Padukone to Anushka Sharma, Bollywood celebs coming forward to take up the challenge has helped in creating awareness about how to wash hands properly. Giving a hilarious twist to the movement, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra too took the challenge. Coming back to their love story, Shilpa had met Raj for a business meeting where she was promoting a perfume brand and Raj was helping her with the promotions. Eventually, the two were seen spending a lot of time together which gave fodder to rumour mills and speculations about their brewing love. Raj was a married man before he had met Shilpa. On February 21, 2020, Shilpa had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared the happy news of the arrival of her baby girl. The actress had posted a glimpse of her baby's little hand and had written, "Om Shri Ganeshaya Namah! Our prayers have been answered with a miracle. With gratitude in our hearts, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our little Angel, Samisha Shetty Kundra. Born: February 15, 2020. Junior SSK in the house! ‘Sa’ in Sanskrit is “to have”, and ‘Misha’ in Russian stands for “someone like God”. You personify this name - our Goddess Laxmi, and complete our family. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Shilpa had revealed details of her second child and had said, “We had been trying for second child for five years. I had signed Nikamma and had committed my dates to Hungama when I got the news that in February, we were going to be parents again. We cleared our work schedules for the whole month.” Shilpa had thanked her team for helping her in completing all her work before she could take a long break. Shilpa had further stated that she always wanted to have a girl child and revealed how she came up with the name, Samisha. Talking about the same, she had said, “I came up with it when I was 21.
