It was in 2012 when Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra had embraced parenthood with the arrival of their son, Viaan Raj Kundra. Viaan's wish to have a baby sister was fulfilled in 2020 when Shilpa and Raj had welcomed a daughter into their lives via surrogacy. When Shilpa Shetty Kundra had turned 45 in June 2020, her 'bestest hubby', Raj Kundra baked her favourite vanilla meringue cake for her and the actress had cut it in the presence of her family. Raj and Shilpa had kept their little angel, Samisha's face hidden from the world back then. So, in a picture from Shilpa's 45th birthday celebration, Viaan could be seen cutting the cake as Shilpa held Samisha in her arms and Raj was playing with his little girl.
Shilpa Shetty Kundra celebrated her 46th birthday too, in the presence of her loved ones at home. With plenty of cakes to cut, balloons and flower decorations in the background and her family by her side, Shilpa's 46th birthday was an intimate yet amazing one. Shilpa posted videos on her IG stories as she had cut her birthday cakes and fed it to everyone. But it was little Samisha Shetty Kundra, dressed in a princess frock with a headband, excitedly clapping for her mommy's birthday and Viaan Raj Kundra, who was super-excited as he sang 'happy birthday' for Shilpa, who stole the limelight from the family of stars.
On Shilpa Shetty Kundra's birthday, her best friend, Akanksha Malhotra had posted a video montage of their special memories. In the video, two pictures of Shilpa with her baby girl, Samisha Shetty Kundra melted our hearts. One was taken when Shilpa and Raj had just brought Samisha home after her birth and the second was a recent click. Shilpa is a doting mom and there are no second thoughts about it.

On Holi 2021, Shilpa Shetty Kundra had posted a couple of pictures, posing with Raj Kundra, Viaan Raj Kundra, Samisha Shetty Kundra, her mother, Sunanda Shetty and her parents-in-law, Mr and Mrs Kundra. Needless to say, it was Viaan and Samisha, who had stolen the show in the family pictures with their cuteness. Shilpa had captioned her post as "Happpppyyyyyy Holiiiiii to all my instafam from all of us."
When Samisha Shetty Kundra was born, Shilpa Shetty Kundra had given a glimpse of her baby girl to announce her arrival. Explaining the meaning of Samisha's name, Shilpa had written in her caption, "Junior SSK in the house! ‘Sa’ in Sanskrit is “to have”, and ‘Misha’ in Russian stands for “someone like God”. You personify this name - our Goddess Laxmi, and complete our family."
