Shilpa Shetty Kundra Bakes The Yummiest Heart-Shaped Cake With Her Son, Viaan Raj Kundra

For the first time in the history of mankind, the world has shut down it's functioning. Everyone is locked inside their homes and the rising number of COVID-19 cases are scaring everyone. It is the day-two of lockdown in Delhi, but it already seems like a week. While every news channel and Youtube video is talking about the highly contagious coronavirus, our team is making sure to keep you going in these testing times. Hence, we are bringing you stories to take inspiration from and see how our celebrities are staying positive in this crucial time. (Recommend Read: Raveena Tandon Misses Her Grandson, Rudra, Posts A 'Glammatales' Throwback Video Of Babysitting Him)

One celebrity mom, we are keeping a close eye on is Shilpa Shetty Kundra. The actress is spending all her time with her son, Viaan Raj Kundra. She is making sure to teach him new things and discover the joy in simple things. Yesterday, Shilpa had shared an exercise routine video with her son, Viaan. And we loved how the mommy-son duo flaunted their perfectly-toned abs. The actress keeps on sharing snippets from her daily life to keep her fans inspired in these difficult times.

On March 24, 2020, Shilpa baked the yummiest chocolate cake with her son, Viaan. She took to her Instagram handle and shared the baking journey she started with Viaan. Along with it, she wrote, "Spending time with Viaan usually entails a baking/cooking session once a week. He loves to experiment and whip up healthy, easy-to-make recipes in his free time. We use this heart-shaped mould to show it’s made with love... This time around, we baked the gluten-free “chocolate heart cake” with coconut sugar, celebrating this time together.  Bake the quarantine blues away. Every day well spent. Since I have more time on hand, I found these pics from the past to show how time flies, but something’s don’t change. Take time out to show gratitude for the time we ‘have’ on hand, and let’s spend it with our kids with happiness in our hearts... K sera sera... whatever will be... Will be." Check out the video below:

Last week, when Maharashtra was locked down, Shilpa had shared a long note with her fans on how she is keeping her son, Viaan busy in self-quarantine. She had shared a video from their tie-dye activity, and had written, "How do I keep my child occupied?!" dominating every parent's mind amidst the COVID-19 quarantine, Shilpa had posted a video with her son, Viaan. The mother-son duo were seen indulged in a tie-and-dye session at home and Shilpa had captioned her video as "How do I keep my child occupied?!" is the million dollar question playing on every parent's mind right now. This 'unplanned' break has to be endured, since it can't be cured. We try planning a few hours of interesting activities in a day for our kids, but what do you do when you hear, "Mommy, I'm bored!!" and you DON'T want to give them the iPad! ake it from me, tearing your hair out isn't going to help as much as you'd think it would. You have to put on your thinking caps, aiming to make the most of this time together. So, you invent, innovate, and come up with something as it's a DO OR "DYE" situation.. that'll keep them busy and you happy. Today's bonding session with Viaan happened with some tie-&-dye activity at home, with a special appearance by Simba! (Who nearly got her tail dyed)." (Also Read: Shilpa Shetty Admits Being Insecure From Her Sister Shamita Shetty When She Made Her Bollywood Debut)

Earlier, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Shilpa Shetty Kundra had revealed how she is nurturing her son, Viaan. She had shared, "I’m from a non-film background and I come from a middle-class family, where our holidays were spent in Matheran, not London. Today, I am not apologetic about being able to take Viaan on a vacation to London. I make it a point that he understands and appreciates everything he has. Raj and I think he should not grow up with a sense of entitlement. If he wants something extra, he has to dig into his piggy box for it. He has to pick his own plate and take it to the kitchen. We follow some basic rules to ensure he understands that everything in life has to be earned, and nothing and no one can be taken for granted." (Don't Miss: Fearful Parent, Kunal Kemmu Talks About Daughter, Inaaya's Reaction To The Ongoing COVID-19 Lockdown)
