Television actress, Shireen Mirza's finally said qubool hai to the love of her life, Hasan Sartaj, in an intimate wedding ceremony in Jaipur. Many celebrities and Shireen's friend joined their celebration including, Divyanka Tripathi, Vivek Dahiya, Aly Goni and Krishna Mukherjee. For the unversed, Shireen is known for playing the character of 'Simmi' in the show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
In February 2021, Hasan had proposed to Shireen on a romantic date. Sharing a picture of the same, and had written, "Saying 'yes' has never been so easy. I can't wait to have an endless adventure with my favourite weirdo. Cheers to us, babe!"

On October 23, 2021, Shireen and Hasan got married and their wedding pictures have been trending on the internet. The gorgeous bride was decked up in a red lehenga with golden zari-embroidery and a double dupatta. She completed her look with magnificent jewellery. Shireen's friend, Divyanka Tripathi, also attended her wedding celebrations with her husband, Vivek Dahiya. The gorgeous actress looked super pretty in a red lehenga while Vivek looked dapper in a cream-coloured sherwani. Another picture of Shireen with her co-star and friend, Aly Goni, was also making everyone emotional.

In an interview with The Times of India, Shireen expressed her happiness. She shared that it all felt like a dream. She had not thought that everything will happen in a bling of an eye. She further added that she is excited as she is getting married to her best friend, Hasan. Shireen also said that she is grateful that he's everything she ever wanted in my Mr Right.
In an interview with ETimes, Shireen had talked about her proposal story. She had said, "Valentine's Day has never been so special for me, but this time, it became the most memorable one because of Hasan. Actually, I wanted to make him feel very special and booked this entire property. I had been planning this for more than two weeks with decorators, photographers and event planners, and wanted to do something brilliant on our first Valentine's together."
