Bigg Boss Cuts More Than Half Of The Promised Prize Money Of Rs 25 Lakh? A Winner Revealed The Truth

Bigg Boss OTT 3's finale is about to happen within a few days. Ahead of that, two strong participants, Armaan Malik and Lovekesh Kataria, were reportedly evicted from the show. The contestants who reached the finale week were Sai Ketan Rao, Kritika Malik, Ranvir Shorey, Sana Makbul, and Naezy. We also recently got a hold of a glimpse of the trophy of this season. While the finale is near, we recently got some information about the prize money that Bigg Boss has to offer to the winners. It's surely huge, but there's a catch.

Shiv Thakre once dropped a truth bomb about Bigg Boss' promised prize money of Rs. 25 lakh

As per several reports, the Bigg Boss OTT 3 winner would get Rs. 25 lakh as prize money in the show. For the unversed, the prize money was the same for Bigg Boss OTT 1 and OTT 2 winners as well. Let us tell you that the prize money may be slightly different from what the BB makers promise. In an interview on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiya's podcast, Bigg Boss Marathi 2 winner, Shiv Thakre dropped a truth bomb about the massive prize money that Bigg Boss offers.

For the unversed, Shiv Thakre won Bigg Boss Marathi 2, while he also took part in Bigg Boss 16. Well, on the podcast, Shiv revealed that more than 50 percent of the prize money was deducted. He said that just before the final announcement, Bigg Boss had revealed that Rs. 8 lakh would be deducted from the promised prize money of Rs. 25 lakh, which makes it Rs. 17 lakh. 

Well, it was surely shocking, but what was even more surprising for Shiv was when he bagged only Rs. 11.5 lakh at the end. Shiv, on the podcast, revealed that he later checked the account and found that only Rs. 11.5 lakh was credited, and the rest was deducted for his parents' plane tickets clothing, and more.

Shiv Thakre is a famous face in the telly world. He grabbed attention by participating in reality shows like MTV Roadies Rising and Bigg Boss. While he won Bigg Boss Marathi 2, he also earned crores from Bigg Boss 16. For those who don't know, Shiv was the first runner-up in Bigg Boss 16, and as per Siaset, he charged Rs. 5 lakh per episode, which made his total fee stand at Rs. 1 crore at the end.
