Shivam and Anjum had a love marriage. The couple had married in Mumbai on July 16, 2021. However, their love story was filled with a lot of challenges as his family initially was not happy with his decision to marry Anjum. The cricketer had got married as per Hindu and Muslim customs. A report by Zee News revealed that the couple had met via common friends, and love found its way. They had dated for a year before tying the knot. Shivam's parents were vehemently against his decision to marry a Muslim girl.
Shivam is, as of now, playing for the 2024-25 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He has made 80 runs and has also taken one wicket in three matches. However, the all-rounder cricketer would be missing Mumbai's last two league matches, which are of the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy, happening in Ahmedabad.
