Diya Mehta Jatia MET Gala Ensemble Features 9000 Hand-Embroidered White Quarts And Royal Cashmere

The MET Gala 2025 has everyone swooning with some of the most gorgeous ensembles on display. The event is a true fashion marvel, and we cannot get enough. Luckily, Shloka Mehta's younger sister, Diya Mehta Jatia, is here to serve us extravagance with her attire for the prestigious evening.

Diya Mehta Jatia is the younger sister of Ambani badi bahu, Shloka Mehta. The internet personality marked her presence at the lavish MET Gala 2025 alongside Ambani's daughter, Isha Ambani. Diya donned a gorgeous creation by Bloni Atelier, which featured a white suit consisting of formal off-white pants paired with an abstract shirt paired with curved panels.

The wave panels replicated the sleeves and featured sequins on the back. The shirt was paired with a tie and a massive broach. Diya completed her look with a Nehru cap and polki jewellery. She carried a white and silver oxidised stick to complete her look. For her makeup, Diya Mehta opted for a dewy base, with defined brows and smokey eyes. A mauve lip shade and a heavy blush finished her look. As for her hair, Diya went for a wet wave look, making sure it didn't take away from the extravagance of her attire.

Diya Mehta took to her Instagram handle on May 6, 2025 (IST) and shared some pictures from her MET Gala 2025 look. She called the suit a moment that she will cherish forever. She further added that her ensemble was rooted in heritage which was shaped with edge and intention. She called it an ode to dandyism while the soul of it remained in India. Elaborating on her look, Diya revealed that royal Himalayan cashmere was used to make her outfit.

Diya Mehta also disclosed that over 9000 hand-embroidered white quartz were sown to her outfit, while her jewels were from a heirloom polki collection. She called the addition of the Nehru cap a rebellion. She also shared that while she was extremely nervous about her appearance on the MET Gala red carpet, she was also grateful beyond words. She was quoted as saying:

"A suit, a story, and a moment I'll cherish forever. Rooted in heritage, shaped with edge, and tailored with intention… This look was my ode to dandyism, with a soul deeply Indian. From the royal Himalayan cashmere and the 9000 hand-embroidered white quartz to heirloom polki and the quiet rebellion of a Nehru cap… this was power dressing through our lens. @bloni.atelier, thank you for crafting something that felt like both history and the future."

Diya Mehta truly brought a fresh perspective to the MET Gala, and its theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. She walked the prestigious fashion event's red carpet alongside Isha Ambani, Natasha Poonawalla, Bollywood icons like Kiara Advani, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and singer, Diljit Dosanjh. For the unversed, MET is an invite-only event, which is sent by none other than the editor-in-chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour, who has chaired or co-chaired the MET Gala since 1995, except for the 1996 MET Gala.
