When Diya Mehta styled her sister, Shloka Mehta, in a 100-year-old vintage gold saree for the NMACC launch event

Akash Ambani's wife, Shloka Mehta looked stunning at the grand launch of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Culture Centre. However, not many know that it was Shloka's sister, Diya Mehta, who styled her. On April 9, 2023, Diya Mehta took to her IG handle and talked about the difficulties that she faced while styling her then-pregnant sister, Shloka. She revealed that she raided her mother's closet and picked a vintage 100-year-old saree to deck up her sister. The saree had real gold embroidery on it, which reflected Shloka's love for simple styles and minimalistic looks.

Talking about Shloka's look for Day 2 of the NMACC grand launch event, Diya further added that they picked a soft chikankari lehenga and added a modern touch by styling a shawl as a blouse. Expressing her nervousness about styling her then-pregnant sister, Shloka, for her pregnancy reveal moment, Diya wrote:

"When @shloka11 didi decided she wanted me to style her for the opening of NMACC, I was so nervous but always excited to dress her! The grandeur of events demanded a finesse that kept me on edge! I have of course styled her previously but for nothing of this magnitude… and our tastes being so opposite, I wanted to find an in-between. My main aim though was to make her feel good and confident and then for sure the clothes would look good too. It was her pregnancy reveal as well so wanted it to be something she would remember."
