Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar are counted amongst the most loved couples in the television world. They tied the knot in 2018, and it was in 2023 when they were blessed with their first child, whom they lovingly named Ruhaan. The couple, being avid social media users, keep sharing lovely videos featuring various glimpses of their day-to-day lives. On the work front, Dipika has been on a hiatus for a while now as she is busy taking care of her son and enjoying her new motherhood phase. Shoaib, on the other hand, has been constantly working and was last seen in the show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11.
Taking to his YouTube channel, Shoaib Ibrahim shared a Vlog capturing yet another day from his life. At the beginning of the video, the doting daddy can be heard talking about the various plans regarding his son, Ruhaan's birthday. For the unversed, Ruhaan will turn one year old on June 21, 2024. Afterwards, Shoaib planned to take out all the kids of his family along with his wife, Dipika Kakar on a shopping spree. Thus, while leaving their home, Shoaib and Dipika's son, Ruhaan had a candid moment with the ladies of their family.

Then, in one segment of the video, we can see Shoaib holding his son, Ruhaan, while the baby boy was staring at his image in the mirror. Amid their playful moment, Shoaib was also heard pleading to hear 'Abba' from Ruhaan's mouth. And suddenly, Ruhaan repeated the term 'Abba', leaving his daddy completely emotional. Shoaib also explained how the moment was extremely treasurable for him. Later, when Shoaib revealed the moment to Dipika, the doting mommy too, gave a cute reaction and was seen extremely delighted to learn about the same. Expressing his joy at the moment, Shoaib was heard sharing:
"Kasam se ye ek aesi feeling thi jo main nhi bayan kar sakta. I think aesa feel mujhe life mein kabhi huya hoga jab Ruhaan ne mujhe Abba bola."

Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Shoaib Ibrahim opened up about his fatherhood journey and mentioned that his son, Ruhaan, is the apple of his eye. When asked how he copes with being away from his son at work, the actor mentioned that he wakes up early to spend time with his little boy. And when he misses Ruhaan during his work, he calls his wife, Dipika, who then brings Ruhaan to his set. In the same conversation, Shoaib recalled Dipika's miscarriage that happened in 2021 and mentioned how it affected them deeply. Adding what he learned from his past experience, Shoaib said:
"It deeply affected us, given our emotional investment. Par sab cheezein oopar wale ki marzi se hoti hain. When Dipika conceived again in November 2022, we couldn't believe it at first. She shared the news with me on November 25. Cautious from the previous experience, I suggested not sharing the news immediately."

A few months ago, when Dipika went to meet Shoaib on the sets of his show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 11 with Ruhaan, people started speculating that the reason for her gained weight might be her second pregnancy. For the day, the actress was wearing a red-hued salwar suit, and was seen covering her belly with a dupatta, which made the netizens comment the same. Afterwards, in a vlog shared by Shoaib, the doting husband was heard discussing Ruhaan's health with the doctors. Following this, he mentioned that if he and his wife get blessed with a second baby later, they will be aware of the fact that babies often face such health situations, and this added fuel to the ongoing rumours. Shoaib was heard saying:
"Doctor bhi bole ki aisa hota hai, toh abb pata hai aisa hota hai. Abb Inshallah, Allah ne chaha kabhi dusra baby hota hai toh apne ko pata hai ki ek time aisa aata hai jaha pe aisi bhi chize hoti hai."
