Popular television couple, Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar are currently on cloud nine, as they embraced parenthood for the first time in their lives. For the unversed, Dipika gave birth to a baby boy on June 21, 2023, but her baby was born prematurely. Dipika and Shoaib's little bundle of joy has been kept in an incubator, and now, the newbie parents shared their baby's health update with their massive fanbase.
In their latest vlog, Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar shared their newborn baby's health update. The actor revealed that Dipika gave birth to their premature baby via C-section, and since then, she has been in immense pain due to the stitches. He further stated that their baby boy is in the incubator, and they get to see him twice a day to give him their touch. However, Shoaib went on to share that nobody except Dipika and him has seen the baby, as only his parents are allowed to meet him. And now, he is excited to take the little one with him so that the entire family can meet him.

Soon, Dipika joined Shoaib in the video and recalled her delivery process. Being a doting hubby, Shoaib stayed beside Dipika throughout the process, and he was a bit nervous. Dipika, on the other hand, was under the effect of anaesthetics, and she was telling the doctor that she had a gut feeling that she would give birth to a baby boy. Soon, her baby boy was born, and the newbie mommy couldn't stop yelling in joy. Dipika also added that she enjoyed every moment of her delivery, despite being dizzy. However, now that their baby is in NICU, Shoaib shared that he didn't have the guts to go and see him initially, but now that the baby is recovering, he feels better.
Shoaib also shared that he wanted to take a break from his acting career to be by Dipika's side, and now that their baby boy has arrived, he told his production house his decision to quit the show. However, his production team was more than happy to make adjustments to cooperate in Shoaib's fatherhood journey by reducing the number of hours and days in his shooting schedule. Shoaib further mentioned that he wants to be by Dipika's side during her post-pregnancy journey so that she gets all the support and care she needs.

Shoaib and Dipika have also decided on a unique name for their baby boy, but they were addressing him as 'Chhotu' for the time being. The newbie parents revealed that they were not prepared for their baby's arrival, as Dipika's delivery was scheduled in July. Recalling the night when Dipika's labour pain started, Shoaib revealed that Dipika was laughing on her way to the hospital as she was worried about their maternity photoshoot, which was planned for the next day.
Taking to his IG stories on June 23, 2023, Shoaib Ibrahim shared a glimpse of his wife, Dipika Kakar, from the hospital days after she gave birth to their son. In the picture, Dipika was seen sitting on the hospital bed as she enjoyed her meal. Caught in the candid moment, the new mommy posed happily for the camera, and her post-pregnancy glow was unmissable. Atop the picture, Shoaib penned a note revealing that Dipika was doing fine. He had penned:
“She is fine.”
