Shoaib Malik is a renowned all-rounder cricket player, who hails from Pakistan. He was born in Sialkot and spent some of his childhood in Karachi. Although he originally showed more interest in hockey than cricket, Shoaib Malik’s father, Malik Faqueer Hussain, was determined to make his son a world-class athlete, particularly a cricketer. Today, Shoaib Malik is considered one of the best cricket players in the world, having earned numerous accolades throughout his career.
Along with his professional front, the 41-year-old’s personal life, especially his love life, has become the centre of attraction. Shoaib shocked the entire world with his announcement of marriage to Lollywood actress, Sana Javed. Before getting married to the Pakistani actress, he was married to Indian Tennis player, Sania Mirza and a teacher named Ayesha Siddiqui. When Shoaib Malik was all set to get hitched to the Indian tennis legend, Sania Mirza, back in 2010, reports went rife which claimed that the cricketer was already married. As per reports, he married an Indian woman named Ayesha, aka Maha Siddiqui, who was a teacher from Hyderabad. They met online and allegedly got married in 2002, proof of which was shared by Ayesha when huge controversy erupted in the media.
The former couple got married over a phone call, but initially, Shoaib denied acknowledging his wedding to Ayesha. The latter then filed a police complaint against Malik for cheating her. Shoaib’s first wife only wanted a divorce from him. However, it was later revealed that she had also received INR 15 crore as alimony from the Pakistani cricketer. The cricketer eventually divorced Ayesha in April 2010, just a few days before marrying Sania, despite his initial denials. Approximately 10 to 15 mediators were involved in the negotiations between the two parties before the divorce was finalised.
After divorcing Ayesha Siddiqui, Shoaib Malik said ‘qubool hai’ to the Indian Tennis player, Sania Mirza. After only five months of courtship, the two decided to take their relationship to the next level. Their cross-border love story was not easy, and they were on the receiving end of severe backlash from both India and Pakistan. However, Shoaib and Sania managed to overcome all the obstacles on their path and got married in April 2010.

They got hitched in a traditional Muslim wedding in Hyderabad’s Taj Krishna Hotel, and this was followed by a walima in Shoaib’s hometown in Sialkot, Pakistan. Shoaib and Sania were blessed with a son in 2018, eight years after their marriage. They named their son Izhaan. Unfortunately, things went downhill between the two in 2020, and there were reports that hinted towards a possible separation between them. And now, it seems Shoaib and Sania have parted ways, as the cricketer said ‘qubool hai’ for the third time in his life.

On January 20, 2024, Shoaib Malik announced his marriage to Sana Javed. The 41-year-old Pakistani cricketer took to his official Instagram to announce the joyous news of his third marriage to the world. He even tagged his now-wife’s IG account. In the pictures, Shoaib and Sana flaunted their million-dollar smiles as they posed mushily for the lens. While the Pakistani cricketer was donning a white sherwani that featured intricate golden and white detailing, on the other hand, Shoaib’s bride, Sana, looked radiant in a golden-hued bridal joda, which featured intricate thread and sequin detailing. She accessorised her bridal look with polki jewellery comprising of a necklace, earrings, maang teeka, and a passa. The actress kept her makeup subtle and let her inner glow to all the talking.
Shoaib and Sana sparked dating rumours in 2023 when the cricketer took to his Instagram account to wish his ‘buddy’ a very happy birthday. On March 25, 2023, Shoaib penned a post for his now-wife featuring a photo of the duo posing happily for the camera. For the unversed, Sana Javed was previously married to the Pakistani singer, Umair Jaswal. The rumours of their separation started making news in November 2023, however, there has been still no confirmation of this from both parties.
