However, the actress has, time and again, proved that she prefers to stay grounded despite being a part of a film family.
On the special occasion of Janmashtami 2022, the diva channelled her inner desi girl in a traditional ensemble and looked absolutely gorgeous. Shraddha attended a Dahi Handi event in Mumbai and made heads turn with her charm and elegance. However, some people were not pleased by her looks, and they ended up trolling her mercilessly. While some body-shamed her, others indulged in age-shaming.

For the event, Shraddha Kapoor exuded ethnic elegance in an orange anarkali suit featuring delicate lace detailing at the hemline. The ensemble also had intricate embroidery and sequin work on the neckline, and its sleeves were beautifully embroidered. Shraddha paired her anarkali kurta with a matching palazzo and a sheer embroidered dupatta. She completed her look with a pair of statement jhumkis, a golden bracelet and chunky bangles, while enhancing her natural look with minimal makeup.
As soon as the video got uploaded, Shraddha's fans couldn't stop drooling over her elegant looks. However, a section of netizens flooded the post's comment section to troll the actress for her age. While one user wrote, "Budhapa face pe dikhra hai", another one took to the comment section to write, "Iske jaise shakkal wali na bacha paida karne layak na shadi." Earlier, a report published in SpotboyE had stated that Shraddha Kapoor treasures her mom, Shivangi Kolhapure and maasis, Padmini Kolhapure and Tejaswini Kolhapure's traditional sarees. The report further mentioned that she loves them so much that for her, it is the most prized possession and that the actress treats these sarees as her heirloom. A source close to the actress was quoted as saying:
"Whenever she gets a chance, she goes through sarees of her mum and masi, and tries draping it around her. She's extremely close to both of them, and the sentimental value these sarees hold are way more important than fashion choices for her and her heirloom will be these sarees."
