Popular actress, Shruti Haasan enjoys a massive fan base for her stunning fashion choices. Following the footsteps of her father-cum-veteran-actor, Kamal Haasan, the diva has proved her acting prowess in both South Indian and Hindi film industries. Apart from her professional life, she is currently hitting the headlines every now and then for her relationship with a playback singer, Santanu Hazarika.
Since the couple has made their relationship official, Shruti Haasan and her boyfriend, Santanu Hazarika keep on sharing glimpses of their life on their respective social media handles. For instance, on January 9, 2022, Shruti had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a Reel in which she could be seen playing a 'couple game' with Santanu. In the video, Shruti had made the surprising revelation and had accepted that she was the first one to say 'I Love You' to him. She had captioned the video as:
'Sleepy faces."

A few hours ago, Shruti Haasan took to her IG handle and shared a series of pictures to wish her beau, Santanu Hazarika, on his birthday. In some of the pictures, Shruti and Santanu were seen in a cosy moment, hugging each other as they were clicked. Sharing the romantic pictures, the loving girlfriend wrote:
"Happy birthday my @santanu_hazarika_art this world is blessed to encounter your gorgeous energy and I’m so thankful everyday to know you ! I wish you the happiest birthday my Angel. Thankyou for being you and can’t wait to see all that you do!"
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Santanu Hazarika had opened up about how his bond with Shruti Hasasan had changed after shifting into a live-in relationship. For the unversed, the duo knew each other since 2018 but it was in the year 2020 when they had decided to live together and be each other's companion throughout the pandemic and the lockdown period. In the same interview, he was asked about his marriage plans with his darling girlfriend, Shruti. To this, Santanu had said that they are already married but 'creatively'. He had revealed:
"That time (pandemic and lockdown) has made us more patient and also at the same time, now, there is a different kind of understanding and resilience, which can only be built when you are sharing a common space, We are already married creatively… That shows how strong our bond is… We are creative people who like to do creative things together, that is very important for us. When it comes to (marriage), I don't know about that. Let's see how things go."

In the same interview, Santanu had presented his views on how he keeps his relationship separate from his professional work. He had said that sometimes people criticise Shruti and him for their work, and at times it's the other way round. While talking about the same, he had mentioned that it's the price of being in the showbiz business. He had shared:
"That's because it's a part of being in this industry. I treat it as a part of our job as simple as that. Our work involves us being out there among the people, and people looking at our work, getting appreciation and sometimes not getting appreciated. It's a separate thing, we keep (our personal relationship), separate."
On February 23, 2022, in a conversation with Pinkvilla, Santanu had admitted that he gets many marriage-related questions from their fans. He had further explained his artistic relationship with Shruti and had talked about inspiring each other with their creative energies. Santanu had considered their special bond more important than marriage. He had stated:
"Right now we have started dating, we love each other, and are involved in a lot of creative processes like making art, music, influencing each other in different ways and means, and even designing clothes. So it's more of a creative journey for both of us, and we both feed off each other's creative energies. There is not even a single day that we are bored of certain things. We make it a point that we have at least a creative conversation in everything that we do, and that's more important than thinking about marriage. This is a marriage of creativity."
