The 'absence' of a parent creates a big void on their kids' hearts no matter how old are they! Even if it is for a short span of time. Legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan's daughter, Shweta Bachchan is also undergoing through similar emotions as her father, her brother, even her bhabhi and her niece; all are admitted in the hospital, undergoing the treatment for COVID-19. On July 11, 2020, the whole nation had gone in shock when the news of Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan being tested positive for COVID-19 had come out. Followed by the news of his son, Abhishek Bachchan, his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan also tested positive for COVID-19. The actor had confirmed the same on his Instagram and Twitter handle. While Big B, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan are admitted in isolation wards of Nanavati hospital and are responding well to treatments.
On July 19, 2020, Shweta Bachchan took to her IG handle to post a picture of the sky and wrote a note reflecting on the grave effect of the absence of her family, on her life. She quoted C.S. Lewis in her caption and wrote, ""Absence is like the sky, spread over everything" - C.S Lewis."
As we all know, Big B is closest to his daughter, Shweta and she also dotes and admires her father a lot. On the occasion of Father's Day, Shweta had posed an unseen picture of her with her dad, when she was a baby and had written, "Scott Fitzgerald's advice to his daughter: Could well be my father's to me. Things to worry about: Worry about courage Worry about cleanliness Worry about efficiency. Talking about the health condition of Big B and Abhishek, reports had suggested that Big B and Abhishek Bachchan are 'stable' and responding well to the treatment, and they will have to be in the hospital for at least seven more days. Also, FYI, all of Amitabh Bachchan's four bungalows - Pratiksha, Janak, Vatsa and Jalsa, where the actor currently lives with his family, have been sealed.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan were initially home quarantined after testing positive for having mild symptoms of COVID-19, but later, they were also admitted to Nanavati hospital after complaints of breathlessness. They are in isolation wards, and their vitals are stable of now. A hospital source had told PTI, "Both Aishwarya and Aaradhya were admitted to Nanavati hospital. They are fine. Talking about how the Bachchans might have contracted the virus, according to reports by ABP news, it was mentioned that Abhishek Bachchan might have come in contact of the virus when he had visited a dubbing studio in Versova on July 8, 2020, for dubbing of his recently released web-series, Breathe: Into The Shadows. There's another theory as well, according to which, the Bachchans might have caught the virus via local transmission. However, the authorities haven't confirmed the route yet, while fans are praying for the speedy recovery of the Bachchan family.
