Growing up, every girl becomes her mother’s BFF. From draping her dupatta as a saree to stealing clothes from each other’s wardrobe, a mother and daughter’s bond gradually grows into friendship. Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Navya Naveli Nanda share a similar bond as not just do they look identical but also have become each other’s BFFs, who seek one another’s advice. As Shweta Bachchan got a new haircut, her daughter, Navya’s reaction is unmissable.
Navya Naveli Nanda and Shweta Bachchan admire each other a lot. On the occasion of Mother’s Day 2021, Navya had shared throwback pictures with her mommy dearest. The first picture was from her mamu, Abhishek Bachchan’s wedding with Aishwarya Rai in 2007, where the mommy-daughter had twinned in a white saree. Atop the picture, Navya had written, "Maa – not a word, but a feeling." The second one was also a throwback picture, where Shweta held Navya in her arms, and she had added a smiling emoticon atop it.

A few hours back, Shweta Bachchan shared a picture of her FaceTime call with her daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda. Atop the picture, Shweta wrote, “Showing my daughter the ‘Kitchen Sink’ haircut my masi (Aunt) gave me (Literally head over the kitchen sink).” While Shweta was showing her new haircut to her daughter, Navya’s mice emoji with tongue out reaction is totally hilarious.
When Navya was interviewed by Vogue, on a social media post, she had talked about the influence of ‘working women’ on her and growing up around strong ladies in her family. On this, a netizen had commented, “What work does her mother do? LOL.” To which, Navya had replied, "@tarakaursingh2 She's an author, writer, designer, wife & mother", followed by a smiley face emoticon. Sharing a screenshot of the comment on her IG story, Navya had written, "Being a mother and a wife is a full-time job. Please don't discredit women who are homemakers. Their role is so crucial in the upbringing of a generation that will hopefully support their contribution instead of tearing it down."

A few days back, on her IG handle, Shweta Bachchan Nanda had shared a picture from her school days with her batchmates and had asked everyone to spot her. She had written, "WHERE's WALDO? Class photo: Bombay Scottish School circa 1980's. (Hint- all the tall girls were made to sit on the floor)." On this, her daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda had commented, "Hi twin". To which, Shweta had replied, "@navyananda Errr, we are not doing this today! Cool?"
On July 26, 2021, Shweta Bachchan Nanda had shared a radiating picture of Navya Naveli Nanda on her IG handle, where the star kid was seen sitting on a green couch, wearing an all-pink outfit and smiling. Shweta had captioned the picture as “Jet setter Go getter Nothing better.” On the picture, Navya had dropped a red heart emoticon and Shweta replied, “@navyananda your eloquence is mind shattering.” Navya's father, Nikhil Nanda, too was impressed and had dropped two red heart emoticons in the comments section.
