The Bachchan family is currently garnering a lot of limelight in the recent time, especially due to a series of subsequent events, that have grabbed the eyeballs of netizens. Well, it all started when the matriarch, Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan attended the Paris Fashion Week to cheer for the former’s daughter, Navya Nanda’s first walk. However, what stood out was the fact that the duo seemingly forgot to share even a bit of enthusiasm or mention the bahu of their family, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who also attended the event and graced the ramp.
Amidst all the buzz about everything not being well in the Bachchan family, especially about the apparent negligence meted out to the bahu of the family, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, an old clip of some startling revelations made by Shweta Bachchan has been doing rounds on the internet. Well, the clip, which dates back to the diva’s previous appearances in the controversial chat show, Koffee With Karan, features Shweta revealing that one thing that she hates about her bhabhi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

In the episode, the host, Karan Johar could be seen asking Shweta about the one thing she loves, hates and tolerates about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Speaking about the first, Shweta said that she loves that her bhabhi is a “self-made, strong woman and a fantastic mother”, whereas she tolerates the latter’s “time management” skills. However, when it comes to the aspect of hating one thing about her, Shweta stated that she hates that Aishwarya “takes forever to return calls and messages”.
Back on October 3, 2023, Shweta Bachchan had attended the Paris Fashion Week, along with her mother, Jaya Bachchan, as they cheered for the former’s daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, making her runway debut at the L'Oreal Paris show in the same event. Taking to her IG handle, Shweta had dropped a bunch of pictures from the event, and penned a note about her experience at the Paris Fashion Week, as well as her pride to see her daughter walk down the ramp. However, what caught everyone’s attention was the fact that Shweta didn’t for once mention her bhabhi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who also attended the same show for the brand, L'Oreal Paris. Shweta’s caption could be read as:
“All roads led to Paris this weekend. Well, at least for my mother & me. As Navya spent all her days doing L’Oréal things. My mother and I walked and ate (more eating than roaming to be honest) The show was an experience and so emotional – my mother and I both admitted to holding back tears as our little girl walked on all smiles!!! I remember her first steps she was just a few days past her 1st birthday – like yesterday, all parents say this I’m sure, it’s cheesy, and annoying, but so true. She wore red, the Eiffel Tower turned pink, and we went home very proud, very emotional, and very hungry.”

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan rang in his 81st birthday on October 11, 2023. Sharing snippets from the homely birthday celebration, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, as well as Navya Nanda dropped some special glimpses. However, on a closer comparison, Aishwarya’s picture, which featured her daughter, Aaradhya along with her grandfather, Amitabh Bachchan seemed to be a cropped image of the original family picture shared by Navya. The original picture featured Jaya Bachchan, Agastya Nanda, apart from Navya and Aaradhya.
Soon enough, eagle-eyed netizens took note of it and began to call it a ‘reverse uno-card’ played by Aishwarya, in response to the ongoing family feud. Taking to Reddit, users began to pool-in their views on the same, and hailed Aishwarya for her best move.
