Every year, on the occasion of Diwali, we see the biggest and the grandest Diwali bashes, and one of them is hosted by the Bachchans. However, this year the Bachchans chose a cosy intimate Diwali celebration. Shweta Bachchan gave us a glimpse of how the Bachchans opted for an intimate family get-together at their home.
A while ago, Shweta Bachchan's daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda shared a glimpse of her Diwali OOTD. She posted two pictures, donning a pastel pink-hued lehenga with silver embroidery from the designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Navya had kept her look subtle with a neckpiece, matching earrings and a bindi.

Now, Shweta took to her Instagram handle and posted a happy family picture, giving us a glimpse of Bachchan's intimate Diwali celebrations. In the photo, we can see Shweta posing with, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. Everyone was decked up in traditional wear. Alongside it, Shweta wrote, "Pod." Check it out below:
For the unversed, Shweta Bachchan had tied the knot with Delhi-based businessman, Nikhil Nanda in the year 1997. Together the duo has raised two adorable kids, Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda. Currently, Shweta lives with her parents', Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, and reports suggest that she had mutually parted ways with Nikhil.

For those who don't know, Shweta Bachchan Nanda shares a beautiful bond with her daughter, Navya Nanda. In fact, they are not just each other's best friends but even best critics. Earlier, in an interview with the Vogue magazine, Shweta Nanda, Navya's mother, had revealed why she doesn't want her daughter to enter the film industry.
On the work front, Shweta had made her debut as a writer in 2018 with her book titled, Paradise Tower!
