You read that just right! We all had seen Shweta Tiwari for the first time on our telly screens wearing a black salwar with a red dupatta flowing along with the 'man-made' wind looking for her Anurag in Kausautii Zindagii Kay. That is exactly when we knew that this lady will go places and how she did! Apart from her professional life, Shweta’s controversial personal life too never failed to grab the headlines. With her first marriage with Raja Chaudhary going kaput (she has a beautiful daughter with him named Palak), Shweta got married to Abhinav Kohli in 2013 and 3 years later, she was blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Reyansh and that was when we had seen her on the screen for the last time.
But as Reyansh turns 3-year-old on November 27, 2019, his star mommy, Shweta Tiwari is soon going to make her comeback on the television screen with her upcoming show, Mere Dad Ki Dulhan and we can’t be more excited! The show will be aired on Sony TV and Shweta will be seen portraying a Punjabi, bubbly character. In an interview with the IANS, Shweta shared, “I am coming back on television screens after three years and I have selected Mere Dad Ki Dulhan as my comeback show because it is a very different character that I am portraying. It has a lot of emotions and is hilarious at the same time.”
Further talking about her character on the show, Shweta Tiwari shared, “My character of Guneet is a relatable one, as we find them everywhere. I love stepping into shoes of unique characters each time. For my look in the show, the makers didn't want my long hair. Hence, I am keeping them short. My character is outspoken, straight-forward and is full of life.” (Must Read: Trishala Dutt Finally Reveals The Truth Behind The Speculations Of Her Fallout With Dad, Sanjay Dutt)
Isn’t this a wonderful piece of news? In August 2019, a sad piece of news about Shweta Tiwari had pierced our heart. A SpotboyE report had it that Shweta had lodged a police complaint against her hubby, Abhinav Kohli, accusing him of domestic violence. The portal had reported that on July 11, 2019, Shweta and her daughter, Palak were ‘in tears’ and were screaming aloud at the police station, accompanied by the former’s mom. It was also reported that Abhinav had even raised his hand on his step-daughter, Palak, in a fit of rage!

Shweta Tiwari had apparently revealed that her hubby, Abhinav Kohli often remains under the grasp of alcohol. Soon after the complaint, he was brought to the police station at around 1 pm and the four of them (Shweta, her mother, Abhinav and Palak) were there for at least four hours before they decided to take the problem back home and settle it amidst themselves. As soon as Shweta and her family left the police station, hushed whispers had started doing the rounds. Neither Shweta nor the police chose to comment on the matter when reached out to them. It was only later when Palak had revealed it all through an open letter. Click HERE in case you want to read it.
Like we mentioned, Shweta Tiwari has a daughter, Palak, from her first marriage and a son, Reyansh, from her second marriage. Sometime back, Palak had taken to Instagram and had penned a heartfelt letter for her half-sibling whom she deeply adores. Her letter began as a salutation to her brother, “Dear Reyansh” and had continued, “I can't tell you how immensely lucky you got with your parents, your mother, our mother. Being your senior by 16 years in this matter I can assure you that this lady here will do everything humanly possible just to give you a scintilla of happiness. As the years will pass, you will take this day to acknowledge her as well.” (Also Read: Amy Jackson Cannot Stop Gushing Over Her Little Man, Andreas' Cuteness, Shares A Twinning Picture)
Palak Tiwari’s letter had concluded with, “Her, who every single day, deals with you and your true imbecile of a sister. As of now, I give her a million reasons to disown me but it's her innate desire to keep pushing me until I, someday, hopefully, become 1/100 of her pristine soul and samaritan self. See, there will be times, inevitably, when you won't agree with her when you'll think she's really not aware of what she's doing (trust me, I’ve been there) but she will always be right. You need to cherish her because someone capable of giving such an extensive amount of love, deserves nothing less. Here's to you mom, I love you so much @shweta.tiwari.”
Isn’t it heartfelt? Also dear readers, how excited are you to see Shweta Tiwari on the screen again? Keep us posted!
