Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are one of the most loved duos in Bollywood. Ever since they got hitched in a dreamy wedding ceremony on February 7, 2023, in Jaisalmer's Suryagarh Palace, they keep giving sneak peeks into their intimate celebrations at various festivals- from Holi to Diwali and more. Now, as Kiara dropped a mushy photo of them while wishing 'Merry Christmas' to everyone, her fans are completely in awe of it. For the unversed, following their traditional wedding, they hosted a lavish reception in Delhi and Mumbai for their friends and family.
Taking to her IG handle, on December 25, 2023, Kiara Advani dropped an alluring picture with her husband, Sidharth Malhotra, from their intimate Christmas celebration. In the picture, they were seen cosily hugging each other while Sidharth kissed his wife merrily. Kiara's expression in the picture clearly clarified the amount of love and happiness she was having at that moment. She looked stunning in a red-hued short dress paired with a pair of transparent heels with a heart design at the front and a reindeer hairband. On the other hand, Sidharth looked handsome in a black t-shirt paired with matching sneakers and red pants. Sharing the mushy photo, Kiara wished her fans and penned:
"Merry Christmas."

Being deeply in love with Sidharth, Kiara often keeps opening up about their dating period and marital bliss. Once again, when she graced the popular reality show, Koffee With Karan season 8, along with Vicky Kaushal, she talked about how beautifully her then-beau-now-husband, Sidharth has arranged everything to propose to her. When Sidharth went to Rome with his family for a vacation, Kiara joined them. However, the actress had an intuition that he would propose to her over there. Thus, she mentioned asking him to get permission from her parents before proposing to her. She said:
“So it was the first destination we went to on that trip. He took us to this Michelin star restaurant and his nephew was with us who was supposed to take the photos and capture the moment. I'm sleepy because I have just landed and joined them on this trip. So, I was really tired. And he has planned the works. He has done this candle-light dinner on top."
Further, Kiara explained that once they went for a walk after dinner, a violinist suddenly emerged from the bush. The actress also added how Sidharth asked his nephew to capture his romantic proposal to Kiara. Thus, when everything was set and going according to plan, Sidharth went down on his knees and popped the million-dollar question of marriage to her. However, while proposing, the actor delivered the same dialogue from the duo's film, Shershaah and proposed to her. Then, she added:
"I was so overwhelmed. Then he starts saying the lines of Shershaah. He's like, 'Dilli ka sidha sadha launda hu, with the full dialogues of Shershaah and I burst out laughing.”

When Kiara teased her fans with the video from her wedding, it left her fans in awe. The beautiful varmala moment with the backdrop of the recreated version of the song, Ranjha from the duo's film, Shershaah, was nothing less than a dreamy one. Thus, in the same interview, Kiara revealed that Sidharth's gesture of looking into his watch was nothing enacted and authentic. However, the actress also mentioned that it was an edited shot, and explained that she was late to the mandap because of a problem with her dress. She clarified that then her husband stared at his watch, but when he looked at her while she was walking down the aisle, he had forgotten everything else. Kiara mentioned:
“Ya and it was from all over. There was some issue happening with my outfit and I got ready very late. So, I couldn't even click photos with my bridesmaids. I don’t have any pictures. My friends have actually posted their photo saying, ‘We swear there was a bride’ because we didn’t get a picture. I was late.”
