Over the years, we have seen many Bollywood celebrities opting for destination weddings, and one of the favourite wedding venues in India is Rajasthan. Rich in culture and heritage, the state offers some of the most magnificent palaces and forts for a royal wedding. From Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal's wedding in 2021 to Hansika Motwani-Sohael Khaturiya's nuptials in 2022, we have seen many B-Town couples getting hitched in Rajasthan. Well, the next one to join the line is our beloved couple, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra.
Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra will tie the knot at Suryagarh palace in Jaisalmer, on February 6, 2023. The luxurious property is located in the heart of Rajasthan and is surrounded by the Thar desert. Reportedly, Sidharth and Kiara's pre-wedding ceremonies would begin on February 4, 2023, and it would include mehendi, haldi and sangeet, followed by a grand wedding.

Needless to say, Sidharth and Kiara have put in a lot of effort to choose the best place for their special day, and we will be eagerly waiting to witness glimpses of their lavish wedding. Talking about the wedding ceremonies, the key highlight of every picture is the mandap, and the Shershaah couple has got the most beautiful set-up for themselves.
The mandap at Suryagarh palace is beautifully adorned with fresh flowers, that complement the overall decor of the area. With two chairs placed on one side of the havan kund, a comfortable seat is arranged for the priest on the opposite side. Meanwhile, the mandap is surrounded by stairs on all sides, which have comfy cushions for the guests to sit and enjoy the wedding festivities.

After seeing the dreamy glimpses of the royal palace where Sidharth and Kiara are going to get hitched, we were curious to find out how much a night stay can cost at this haveli. Upon doing some research, we found that a one-night stay at Suryagarh palace can dig a hole in our pockets. Hailed as the ‘gateway to the Thar Desert’, the royal haveli has a lot of suite options, which can cost up to Rs. 1,10,500 per night. However, the most affordable room at this massive property costs around Rs. 20,000 per night.
A report in the ETimes also stated that the wedding would take place at Jaisalmer's Suryagarh Palace, amid high security. Just like the big Bollywood weddings, Sid and Kiara's wedding will also take place behind closed doors. Reportedly, the royal wedding will have a lavish spread of Indian and Continental food, and some local delicacies from Rajasthan will also be arranged for the guests. The report also suggested that camel rides, and Kathputli and Manganiyar's performances will also be organised to entertain the guests.
We are super-excited to witness the pre-wedding ceremonies of Sidharth and Kiara at this royal palace. What about you?
