The big fat Punjabi weddings are all about dance, drama and mouth-watering khaana. However, another highlight of any Punjabi wedding is the bright-coloured outfits of the bride. From padoswali aunty to long-lost sisters, everyone's eyes are stuck to what the bride has worn. Over the years, we have seen every bride donning pretty lehengas for their wedding day. Lehengas have become synonymous with Indian brides.
However, the sad part about the gorgeous red lehenga is that it can't be worn again. Hence, they are packed forever in suitcases. But nowadays, brides are getting back to their roots and adorning their traditional outfits. From Maharashtrian brides wearing nauvari saree to Rajput brides donning Rajputana poshak, they are showing off their culture's rich tradition on their big day.

If you are a Punjabi girl, then we are sure, you must be aware of the craze behind salwar suits, patiala suits and phulkari dupattas. We have grown up donning pretty colours of patiala suit, and deep down every Punjabi girl loved wearing the comfy ensemble. And our bride of the week, Nimrat Sandhu is no different.

While the bride's entire look made our jaws-dropped, it was her makeup that made her shine on her big day. Her makeup artist, Tanya Kaur did a fantastic job as she dolled her up for her big day. Her makeup was kept subtle with soft-dewy eyes. Another highlight of her look was her Punjabi braid which was adorned with parandi.
On the other hand, her groom had donned a cream-coloured pathani suit with floral work on the sleeveless jacket. He had accentuated his look with pink turban and neckpiece.
We love the Sikh bride's entire wedding outfit, but our favourite was her punjabi hairstyle with parandi!
