A wedding day will come and go, but the memories will last forever. That's the reason why brides want every teeny-tiny detail of their wedding to be perfect. Over the decades, Indian weddings and bridal attires have evolved. In the 1920s, our wedding outfits were highly influenced by lace and pearl work. Then we saw an era when shararas and anarkalis ruled the hearts of coy brides.
However, no matter in which era we are in, a bride loves experiments. From different hues to styles for their big day, a millennial bride tries her hands on every new trend. Recently, we stumbled upon a Sikh bride, who ditched the laal shaadi ka joda and opted for a white chikankari sharara for the big day. For those who don't know, according to Indian belief, white is not considered the apt colour for the bride. Nowadays, brides are donning white-hued ensembles for the most special moments.

However, it was the bride's outfit of the day that left our jaws dropped. She ditched the heavy red lehenga and opted for a whimsical white sharara. Her outfit featured chikankari work all over the kurta. She styled her look with double dupattas. The bride accentuated her look with a meenakari kundan choker with green drops, matching earrings, a maang teeka, and a passa. Her red bridal chooda added a pop of colour and kaleeras completed her bridal look.

We love the bride's gorgeous white sharara! What do you think about it?
