Indian Women's Cricket Team vice-captain, Smriti Mandhana and music composer, Palaash Muchhal's wedding has come to a pause indefinitely. It has not been a happy ending amid claims of Palaash cheating on Smriti with choreographer, Mary D'Costa, and her dad, Shriniwas Mandhana, who had a sudden heart attack. Palaash was also hospitalised, and to top it all, Smriti's brother, Shravan, is not even following Palaash anymore on social media.

Amid all the chaos happening in the lives of Smriti Mandhana and Palaash Mucchal, Shravan is not following Palaash on social media. For the unversed, Shravan is Smriti's brother. If you take a look at Shravan's Instagram account, he is only following 7 people, and Palaash is not one of them. However, it is interesting to note that Palaash has been following Shravan and has not unfollowed him. For those who do not know, Smriti Mandhana has removed all the pre-wedding and proposal video featuring her and Palaash Muchhal. Her teammates have removed the reels from their profiles. One side of the story of Smriti and Palaash's wedding being halted was because of her dad getting a heart attack-like symptom and being rushed to a hospital located in Sangli on the day of the wedding.

A lady whose flirty chats went viral with Palaash Muchhal revealed that she never intended to drag herself into the controversy. She has also claimed not to be Mary D'Costa and that people need to stop targeting her. The lady revealed that she is the same person who posted the chats and never wanted her identity to come out. She claimed that Palaash's texts were from May-July 2025 and never met him or even got involved. Speaking about it, she said:

"I only exposed him because I love cricket, I adore Smriti Mandhana, and I felt people should know. I’m not the choreographer, nor the person he cheated with. I didn’t expect this backlash and had to make my account private. In the chats, it’s clear I wasn’t at fault — I was the one who ghosted him. Please don’t target me; I genuinely can’t handle it. I never wanted any of this."

The lady revealed that she thought people would understand because, in the chat, one can see she was not at fault and was the one who ghosted Palaash. The lady claimed that she would never do anything wrong to any woman, whether she is famous or not, and requested everyone not to target her, as she cannot handle the same.

Palaash Muchaal's chats with Mary D'Costa were all things spicy

Screenshots of Palaash and choreographer, Mary's chats have gone viral on the social media. He was seen asking her for a swim and said that his relationship with Smriti was almost dead and that it was a long distance. However, neither Palaash nor Smriti have addressed these rumours and social media cannot stop talking about Mary's involvement. Mary had earlier made her Instagram account private and then made it public. Earlier, a report by the Times Of India claimed that Smriti was extremely close to her dad. She would only get married once he was fine. Palaash's sister, Palak, recently had also asked for privacy and confirmed that the wedding was postponed.
