Smriti Mandhana's Dad, Srinivas' Latest Health Update, His Doctor Shares Details On Heart Condition

Srinivas Mandhana, who is the father of the Indian cricket team's vice captain, Smriti Mandhana, on November 23, 2025, experienced symptoms of a heart attack. He was taken to Sarhvit Hospital located in Sangli, where he had pain on the left side of his chest. Srinivas was immediately transferred to Sarvhit Hospital and Medical Research Centre, where his health was further evaluated. However, now Srinivas' doctor has shared his current health condition and has revealed his heart condition in detail, as Smriti's fans are concerned.

Srinivas Mandhana's current health status

Smriti Mandhana's dad, Srinivas, was already planning to get his daughter married to music composer Palash Muchhal. However, fate had other plans as he was admitted to a hospital in Sangli after he showcased symptoms of a heart attack. The scare was real, and he immediately required medical intervention. Now, Dr. Naman Shah, Director of Sarvhit Hospital in Sangli, shared a statement with the press, revealing that Srinivas has elevated cardiac enzymes and, if needed, may require an angiogram. Srinivas' doctor shared:

"Despite slightly raised cardiac enzymes, he requires ongoing observation. Our cardiologist, Dr. Rohan Thanedar, has examined him, and there are no new findings on the echocardiogram. However, he may need continuous ECG monitoring and, if necessary, angiography.”

Smriti Mandana's dad, Srinivas' has blood pressure that is on the higher side

The doctor also stated that the blood pressure of Srinivas has been on the elevated side, and because of the same, he needed continuous observation. The doctor stated that the reason for the same could be due to physical or mental stress, perhaps because it is wedding season with a lot of hectic activity. A while back, Smriti's manager, Tuhin Mishra, had shared a statement that Smriti had decided to postpone her wedding with Palash indefinitely because of her dad's health issues. Tuhin while speaking to the media, shared:

"Smriti is very clear that she wants her father to recover first and then resume the wedding. It has been indefinitely postponed."

Srinivas Mandhana's condition seems to be stable at the moment

At one end, since the weekend came, Smriti and Palash's pre-wedding festivities were in full swing. The couple was seen dancing, celebrating with their family and friends during their haldi and mehendi rituals, and were seen having a blast. However, an unforeseen situation came when Srinivas fell ill on the day his daughter, Smriti, was to start the newest chapter of her life with Palash. As soon as Srinivas' condition worsened, he was immediately taken to the hospital, as his health was not at all improving.

However, Smriti's fans can breathe a sigh of relief as her dad, Srinivas', condition seems to be stable, and her wedding ceremony for the moment was called off. However, no one has any idea when the wedding festivities of Smriti and Palash will resume. Smriti's manager shared that Srinivas was not feeling well while eating breakfast on the morning of November 23, 2025. The manager, Tuhin Mishra said:

"Today in the morning when he was having breakfast, Smriti Mandana's father, Mr. Srinivas Mandhana, got unwell. We waited for a while. We thought that maybe it's normal, he will be fine. But he was getting worse. So we thought, let's not take any risk, so we called an ambulance and took him to the hospital. Now he is under observation."
