Smriti Mandhana has been on cloud nine for the past few weeks. Along with Team India, she won the Women's Cricket World Cup 2025. Following this victory, Smriti is making strides in her personal life as well. After one of the most romantic proposals, she is all set to marry her long-time boyfriend, Palash Muchhal. As the wedding festivities have begun, Smriti's teammates have been part of this huge moment in her life as well. Take a look at the teammates-turned-ladki-wale cheering for their Vice Captain, now a bride. 

Smriti Mandhana's haldi ceremony was attended by the Indian Women's cricket team 

People have been eagerly awaiting glimpses of the Smriti-Palash wedding festivities since news of their engagement spread. After Palash's grand marriage proposal went viral, visuals of Smriti's haldi have also become the talk of the town. At their Vice Captain's haldi, the women in blue were decked in yellow and pink traditional attire.

Videos from the celebration showed Smriti's teammates dancing their hearts out to groovy songs. Shafali Verma, Arundhati Reddy, Radha Yadav, Jemimah Rodrigues, and Shreyanka Patil were seen having a blast at the function. Whether on the field or at her haldi, Team India definitely knows how to cheer for their Vice Captain. However, captain of the team, Harmanpreet Kaur, wasn't seen on any of the snaps. 

Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal's love story

Rumours were flying around that Smriti Mandhana was dating music composer, Palash Muchhal, who is also the brother of singer, Palak Muchhal. On the occasion of her 28th birthday on July 18, 2024, Palash made their relationship official with a sweet birthday post for her which read, "Happiest birthday, my beautiful girl! You mean everything to me, and I can't imagine my life without you." Following this, after declaring his love for Smriti, he was also seen at her matches, cheering for her the loudest. 

While Smriti Mandhana amazed fans on the field as one of the finest batters during the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup, her boyfriend surprised everyone by divulging a recent update on their love story. Palash spoke to reporters at the State Press Club and revealed that Smriti would soon become the 'daughter-in-law of Indore'. For the unversed, Indore is his hometown.

The Indian Cricket Team girls danced with her too. Then her fiance, Palash shared a video with the caption, "She said yes", showing his romantic marriage proposal. As the wedding festivities progress, more visuals from the celebrations are awaited.
