Smriti Mandhana Palaash Muchhal To Get Married On December 7, Bride's Brother Reveals 'As Of Now..'

Smriti Mandhana and Palaash Muchhal made headlines just a few weeks ago for their beautiful pre-wedding ceremonies. However, on the day of the wedding, all their dreams were shattered as reports stated that the wedding had been postponed as Smriti's father had been hospitalised. After which, unverified reports claimed that Palaash Muchhal cheated on Smriti Mandhana. Now, after a lot of hey-say, it is reported that the two are going to get married.

Smriti Mandhana's brother clarifies on the reports of his sister's wedding with Palaash Muchhal

On December 2, 2025, a lot of reports stated that the Indian cricketer, Smriti Mandhana, is going to get married to music composer, Palaash Muchhal, on December 7, 2025. Just weeks after their postponed wedding. However, Smriti's brother, Shravan Mandhana, straight away denied the claims. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Shravan revealed that he doesn't know about the rumours but the wedding is still postponed. He said:

"I have no idea about these rumours. As of now it (the wedding) is still postponed."

Earlier, Smriti and Palaash were going to get married in the cricketer's hometown, Sangli. But the wedding was dramatically paused as an unexpected situation arose on the morning of Smriti's big day. Her father, Shrinivas Mandhana, suffered a medical emergency, and he was rushed to the hospital. After which, the wedding was postponed. A day later, the groom-to-be was also hospitalised due to extreme stress. 

Palaash's mother revealed that he was put on IV support and underwent multiple tests before getting discharged. The families maintained dignified silence, but soon unverified reports claimed that Palaash was caught cheating on Smriti. In fact, fuel was added to the fire when Smriti deleted all the wedding-related content with Palaash, including his proposal video. 

While Smriti still follows Palaash, her best friend unfollowed him, intensifying the sparks. When the infidelity buzz went viral, Palaash's mother, Amita Muchhal, opened up about the rumours surrounding her son's cancelled wedding. She revealed that Palaash and Smriti are both going through tough times. She further added that Palaash wanted Smriti to be his bride, and she had planned a grand welcome for her. She assured the fans that the wedding will happen soon. She said:

"Smriti and Palaash dono takleef mein hain... Palaash dreamt of coming home with his bride. I had even planned a special welcome. Everything will be fine shaadi bahut jaldi hogi."

Reports state that Palaash Muchhal caught cheating on Smriti Mandhana with their wedding choreographer

After Palaash and Smriti's wedding was postponed, a woman named Mary D'Costa shared screenshots of her alleged DMs with Palaash, wherein he invited her for a swim and flirted with her. Not only this, he even talked about his relationship with Smriti Mandhana, which he called dead. Later, a new name surfaced and was linked with Palaash. It was revealed that Palaash actually cheated on Smriti Mandhana with their wedding choreographer, Nandika Dwivedi. 

As per a Redditor, Palaash was involved with the choreographer even a day before his wedding to Smriti. The unverified post claimed that Palaash was caught in a compromising situation and was caught by one of Smriti's cricket teammates, Shreyanka Patil.
