Snoop Dogg's Daughter, Cori Lost Baby Girl: She Had A Stroke 10 Months Before 'High-Risk' Pregnancy

Snoop Dogg's daughter, Cori Broadus, is currently navigating a hard phase in her life, as she lost her 10-month-old daughter, Codi Dreaux. It was a 'high-risk' pregnancy for Cori, which she earlier shared. Cori, who is 26 years old, recently took to her IG handle and announced the passing of her daughter. For the unversed, Cori's daughter, Codi, was born prematurely (three months earlier), and she had a prolonged NICU stay. The little one was doing fine until January 2026, when 10-month-old Codi passed away. Well, did you know that Cori had a stroke just 10 months before she conceived? Here's what happened!

Snoop Dogg's daughter had a 'high-risk' pregnancy: How did her 10-month old daghter pass away?

It was in December 2024 when Cori Broadus announced that she was expecting her child with her fiancé. She revealed that she found out that she was pregnant in October 2024. Speaking to E! News, Cori revealed that it was a high-risk pregnancy, and doctors were concerned about her and her baby, but she had her trust in God. She could be quoted as saying:

"I found out Oct. 28. I'm a high-risk pregnancy, and doctors were very concerned for me and the baby, but God has his hands on me."

In another post, Cori revealed that she had a C-section delivery, and doctors told her that she was developing HELLP Syndrome. HELLP stands for Hemolysis (the process of red blood cell destruction), Elevated Liver enzymes and Low Platelets, and it occurs during the third trimester or postpartum. Well, Cori delivered her daughter when she was only 6 months pregnant, and the little one needed to be in an extensive NICU care.

Speaking about the same, Cori shared in an IG post that she cried and blamed herself for not providing what her child needed, but it was God who had shown her how she's protected. Cori's daughter passed away before turning 1 year old. She was just 10-months old, and taking to her IG handle, Cori shared that she lost her daughter last Monday, i.e. on January 26, 2026. On the other hand, Cori’s fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also shared a post, wherein he expressed his hurt over losing his daughter.

Snoop Dogg's daughter had a hard childhood, as she was only six years old when she was diagnosed with autoimmune lupus. The condition led her to have long-term medication, including treatments, liquids, syringes, and everything else. It was in 2023 that she decided to stop her medication and opt for a natural way to heal her lupus, which, on the other hand, started taking its toll.

First, her face started breaking out, which was a tiny precursor to a scarier health scare, like a stroke. Yes! Cori had a stroke in January 2024, and she talked about the same in an interview with Women's Health Magazine. She shared that the day she had a stroke, she couldn't first realise it. She went to sleep after feeling weak in her hands and legs, but later she found out that she was not even able to hold her plate, which led her fiancé to take her to the hospital and have an ER done, which further revealed that she had a stroke. With her having slept for 9 hours that day, there was a risk of coma. Cori said:

"When I got to the E.R., they were like 'Were you aware you had a stroke?'" I was asleep for nine hours while having a stroke, and you could die off of that. You're never supposed to go to sleep when you're having a stroke. I could have easily gone into a coma."
