Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are all set to tie the knot soon. The duo got engaged on August 8, 2024, and according to numerous reports, they will get married on December 4, 20204. The couple has been extremely tight-lipped about their D-day, but some leaks about their wedding have been making rounds on the internet. Recently, we got our hands on the special wedding invite hamper the couple sent to their guests.
Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya are counting days until their big day. Ahead of that, they have sent personalised invites to around 100 guests. A source close to the couple recently shared with The Times Of India that Sibhita took immense joy in personally curating wedding invite baskets for the guests. The wedding invite wasn't just a piece of paper but a well-crafted basket full of goodies. The source shared:
“Sobhita is so happy to do this. She personally packed her wedding invites for around 100 guests and found immense joy in the process. She curated a handwoven basket containing little things she grew up loving, including handmade Kondapalli dancing dolls, old-school bath essentials, a filter coffee kit, Nalla-Kaaram Podi, Sunnundalu, and fresh mogra gajras.”
Talking to the TOI, the source added that the bakest was hand woven and consisted of handmade Kondapalli dancing dolls, old-school bath essentials, a filter coffee kit, Nalla-Kaaram Podi, Sunnundalu, and fresh mogra gajras. It also contained an ikkat-printed ensemble for the guests. If the wedding invite is so personal and deeply rooted in traditions, one can imagine how the grand wedding is going to turn out.
A photo of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala's wedding invitation card, reportedly shared by a close friend, made rounds on social media. On the card, the wedding date was printed as December 4, 2024, along with the to-be-married couple's names. The card was a beautiful representation of the couple's unique style, featuring a blend of modernity and tradition in a pastel colour palette. The card had prints of hanging temple bells, brass lamps, a temple in the background, greenery and banana leaves, and a white cow, all adding to its charm.
Curiosity and speculation about Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala's wedding venue have been rife for long. Some thought they would marry at a five-star hotel in Rajasthan, while others felt they would have a destination wedding abroad. However, fans can finally rest easy because the official destination has been revealed, and it is Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The venue has a special connection with Naga Chaitanya's grandfather, Akkineni Nageswara Rao. The late actor-producer founded Annapurna Studios on a 22-acre site in Banjara Hills in 1976, and it was formerly known as Annapurna Pictures, a significant part of the Telugu film industry's history.
