On her and Kunal's evolution as parents, Soha recently said, "Yes, I think separately and together. A marriage evolves and adapts to a new person being an integral part of your life." She also went on to add, "And independently also, I am the youngest in my family, I have never been responsible for anyone else, I've never had to look after anyone, I have never changed a diaper or fed someone or made someone sleep or been around someone so vulnerable. So, it really is a life-changing experience.”

On constantly keeping an eye on Inaaya, Soha remarked, "It can be challenging and exhausting to watch after someone all the time, but you know that's life. You have to understand that life is different now and it will never be the same.” She also added, "And for me, even if I am away from her, I am worried about her. Even if I know someone responsible is looking after her, I want to be there. But you have to let go, you know literally cutting that umbilical cord has to happen. The faster you accept that and trust other responsible people around your child, the easier and better it will be for you."
Revealing what she followed to get back in shape after pregnancy, Soha had earlier shared, “Well, for starters, I was very careful about what I was eating but at the same time, my priority was never to lose all the fat within one month. As a new mother, I was so stressed post-pregnancy that I lost a lot of weight due to that as well. In fact, a good way to burn calories is actually to breastfeed, if you can. So, there were a number of things that I did.” She further went on to add, “My number one focus was on eating well and to have healthy food. I specifically made it a point to not give up on food items like ghee and milk. I was very conscious of eating nutritious food and not mere empty calories.” (Checkout: Kalki Koechlin Opens Up About Her Ex-Husband, Anurag Kashyap And Post-Divorce Life)
Talking about her pregnancy journey, Soha had once shared, “Thankfully, not during my pregnancy, because everything went alright, more or less, as I ate well, did yoga, exercised, and went to the doctor on time, so that was fine. I think I would rather advise myself on how I was as a new mother because I think I got a bit too worked up.”

She had further remarked, “I would get really worried, so much so, that if Inaaya cried, I would start crying as well. For example, if she wasn't having milk or feeding properly, I would get really freaked out. Thankfully Kunal was there, right by my side soothing and explaining to me that she (Inaaya) is a baby, crying is her way of communicating and expressing herself, so it is absolutely normal for her to cry, but you don’t have to cry. But it takes a while to get there.” (Also Read: Abhishek Bachchan's Unseen Picture With Shweta Bachchan From Teenage Will Give You 90's Nostalgia)
In an interaction with the IANS, Soha had told, “Ever since I became pregnant, that’s when I made a change to move from anything that has chemicals in it to things that were 100 per cent natural.” The Perils of Being Moderately Famous author had further added, “As a new mother, I don’t want to be around toxins because I like the fact that they say that what you eat is what shows on your skin and the other way round that what you put on your skin you should be able to eat. I like that kind of realistic approach especially around Inaaya now.” (Do Check: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Throwback Picture Before Her 'Miss World' Days Goes Viral On The Internet)
