Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu are Gen Z parents who believe in modern parenting. From talking about their passions with their four-year-old daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, to teaching her about the age-old family values, the celebrity couple does it all. It was on September 29, 2017, when the little princess came into Soha and Kunal’s life and gave them one more reason to live a happy life.
Since the nine-day festival, Navratri has begun, people across the nation are prepping in full swing to celebrate the arrival of the Goddess Durga. And star kid, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu is no different. Even after belonging to a Muslim family, Saif Ali Khan’s sister, Soha Ali Khan, celebrates all the Hindu festivals and teaches the same to her daughter, Inaaya.

On September 27, taking to her Instagram handle, Soha Ali Khan shared a Reel, in which we can spot the little munchkin, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. The mother-daughter duo was twinning in red-coloured ethnic ensembles. Moreover, she was seen adorably putting tilak on her mom’s forehead. Not only this! Inaaya was also seen offering prayers to the Goddess Durga on the second day of Navratri. Alongside it, Soha penned:
“Red for the passion and love with which we celebrate the power of the divine feminine on this second day of Navratri.”
Inaaya loves her mom, Soha Ali Khan the most and couldn’t spend a moment without her. Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, she had narrated a hilarious incident when Inaaya had asked her nanny to go for a shooting so that she could spend time with her mother, Soha, instead. In her words:
“I leave her with a very capable nanny. The last time I left her at night, I told her Rashmi didi (the nanny) will make you sleep. She said, ‘will she manage, what if I need something?’ So, I told her, she is brilliant. She can do anything. Inaaya said, ‘so why don’t you send her for shooting and you stay home with me’. I said, ‘she is not that brilliant’. I didn’t even know what to say to that actually.”

For those who don’t know, Soha and her hubby, Kunal had launched a book together in 2021, which is named Inni and Bobo. Taking inspiration from their daughter, Inaaya, the book tells a story of a girl and her adventures with an adopted pet dog. In an old interview with Hindustan Times, Soha had explained how her princess inspired her to write the book. In her words:
“The inspiration was really because our daughter, who is four-and-a-half years old, has enjoyed us reading to her from the time she was born. It is a habit that we have definitely encouraged. She is now starting to read a little bit herself and blend words but she still will pull down a lot of books and ask one of us to read to her, especially at bedtime. I used to read books to her and Kunal used to invent stories and ask her to actually contribute towards developing it, telling her to imagine the principal characters.”
We love how Soha and Inaaya celebrated the second day of Navratri! What about you?
