Fathers- they are the workers of a thankless job. While we as much applaud the contribution of a mother in shaping a child's life, it is as much the work of a father, who provides all the necessities and creates an environment beneficial for the child which will help him/her shape into wonderful individuals. A father may himself stay put in the sun for long hours so that his child can stay in shade. A father will skip his meals and attend meetings instead so that his kid can go to school and pursue the dreams of his choice. And today, June 16, 2019, is the day when we commemorate the same to a blessing from God, whom we often call 'father'. Today (June 16, 2019) must be an ecstatic day for all fathers', given that it is Father's Day. And similarly, the happiness of newbie daddies know no bounds today! Speaking of 'newbie fathers', surely reminds us of one-and-a-half-year-old Inaaya Naumi Kemmu and her 'biker' daddy, Kunal Kemmu. Remember the adorable Father's Day wish that Inaaya's star mommy, Soha Ali Khan had shared on behalf of her last year? Posting a picture of Kunal and Inaaya, Soha had written, "Like father like daughter. Happy father’s day!! #happyfathersday @khemster2.” Here’s the picture:
The beautiful day is back once again and Soha Ali Khan again took to Instagram to post a video that made us all watch it on repeat! Soha shared a slow-motion video in which Kunal Kemmu sprung baby Inaaya Naumi Kemmu in the air, as she returns to him, giggling with joy! Sharing the video, Soha wrote, "The wind beneath my wings #happyfathersday @khemster2." Here's the video:
Isn't this amazing? Kunal Kemmu too took to Instagram and posted a collage of him walking with his father and beside it, was another picture of him walking with his daughter, Inaaya. Sharing the picture, Kunal wrote an open letter to his daughter on Father's Day. The same could be read as, "I held his hand and learned to walk like you are learning today.. one day I will walk with you as you show me around your roads. You learn from us today and I look forward to learning from you. I really hope I can be the father to you that my father has been to me. I think he may love you even more than he loves me now so enjoy that as he is the most fun person that I know..#happyfathersday."

In an interview earlier, Kunal Kemmu had shared if his life had changed after Inaaya Naumu Kemmu came into their lives. He had shared, "I don’t know whether life has changed or not, but priorities definitely have [changed]. This [father-daughter] is the only relationship that hasn’t taken more than a second for me to completely fall in love with.” (Must Read: Neha Dhupia Shares 'His First, Her First' Father's Day Picture Of Angad Bedi And Mehr Dhupia Bedi)
Kunal Kemmu in an interview with the IANS, had talked about being a father and parenthood, "Yeah, definitely. I am learning how to be a parent and all my decisions are based around my daughter Inaaya." He also shared that it is after the arrival of a baby that a person's life truly changes, "It's a constant change and like after marriage people start saying life changes and I used to be like, not at all! It's actually after you have a baby, your life actually changes."
Kunal Kemmu has been working in films since he was a child. Don’t you want to know if the doting daddy has similar plans for his baby daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu when she grows up a little more? Revealing the same and a new word that Inaaya has learnt, the Go Goa Gone actor had shared in an interview with the Mid-Day, “I don't want to take decisions on my daughter's behalf. I want her to do everything she likes. All I want to do is give her access — let her read, act, travel and do whatever she hopes to. I want to stand on the sidelines and support her every decision. I don't want to transfer my aspirations to her. She has started walking and can say the word 'blue'. She is training us to be parents.”
Even her mommy, Soha Ali Khan too, shares similar views when it comes to what she would want her daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu to be when she grows up and had stated earlier, “Whether she wants to be a full-time mother, astronaut, actor, or architect, I will support her. I want to give her a good foundation and be involved in her life. I want to teach her my values. And then, ultimately, I want to be able to help [make] her dreams come true.” (Also Read: Janhvi Kapoor And Arjun Kapoor Share The Best Father's Day Wish For Daddy, Boney Kapoor)
Further sharing if parenthood has evolved her or hubby, Kunal Kemmu as a person, Soha Ali Khan had shared, “Yes, I think separately and together. A marriage evolves and adapts to a new person being an integral part of your life.” The doting mommy had further added, “And independently also, I am the youngest in my family, I have never been responsible for anyone else, I’ve never had to look after anyone, I have never changed a diaper or fed someone or made someone sleep or been around someone so vulnerable...So it really is a life-changing experience.”
Here's wishing you all lots of joy on Father's Day! Let him know how much he is loved.
