However, Aishwarya Rai's statement didn’t go well with Salman Khan's brother, Sohail Khan, who called the actress out for not acknowledging her relationship with his brother. In a media interaction, Sohail said that Aishwarya used to visit their home, and they treated her like part of their family, but she made Salman feel insecure by never being open about their relationship. Sohail added:
“Now she (Aishwarya) weeps in public. When she was going around with him when she used to visit our home so often like part of the family, did she ever acknowledge the relationship? She never did. That made Salman feel insecure. He wanted to know how much she wanted him. She would never let him be sure of that.”
Not just this, Sohail Khan also took a dig at Aishwarya Rai's affair with Vivek Oberoi soon after parting ways with Salman Khan. He made a shocking accusation, stating that Aishwarya was in constant touch with Salman over the phone while being with Vivek. Sharing how it made Vivek upset, Sohail Khan said:
“Aishwarya was in constant touch with Salman Khan till recently on the mobile and that’s what upset Vivek.”
