When Somy Ali Made Her Alleged Ex, Gulshan Grover A Fool, Two Timed With Salman Khan

It is said that Somy Ali had entered the Hindi film industry for only Salman Khan. She found love in him, and reportedly, for eight years, the duo had also dated. Somy could not become Mrs. Salman Khan from Salman Khan but ended up becoming his ex. Somy had claimed many times that he had insulted her, burnt her with cigarettes, and used to also abuse her. However, Salman was not her only love affair as she reportedly even two-timed on Gulshan Grover, with Salman which was the cause of Sangeeta Bijlani not being able to marry Bhaijaan.

An interview from 1994 posted on Reddit went viral, claiming that Somy made a fool out of Gulshan Grover. Reportedly, Bollywood's screen villain hated Somy when he came to know that she was never in love with him. Somy reportedly was behind big stars so that she could get big work in Bollywood. The report claimed that Somy two-timed Gulshan with Salman and used the former whenever she felt lonely. Even Saif Ali Khan's ex-wife, Amrita Singh was not comfortable with the wild parties Somy used to do with Saif and used to overlook the affairs.

When Somy Ali admitted being the cause of destruction between Salman Khan and Sangeeta Bijlani

Somy, in many interviews, claimed that it was not difficult for her to woo Salman. However, before Somy, Salman dated Sangeeta and their relationship was one of the most talked about romances back in the 1980s and 1990s. They were reportedly engaged in 1994, and Somy said that a day before Sangeeta and Salman's wedding, it got cancelled. Somy revealed that Sangeeta ended the relationship as she found Salman cheating on her with Somy. In her words:

"The wedding cards were printed, but Sangeeta caught Salman red-handed in my apartment. He was with me. What Salman did to Sangeeta, the same happened to me. This is called karma. When I grew up a little, I understood about it.”

When Somy was in India, she did a couple of movies, but her film with Salman did not see the light of the day. When they went for a trip to Nepal she boldly expressed her feelings to the actor and said she came all the way from overseas for Salman and told him to get married to her. During that time, Salman said that Sangeeta was in his life when Somy declared her love for him.

Somy has often spoken about the dark side of her bond with Salman. She had said of being abused under the pretext of love and care of the actor. In a past interview as published by the Times Of India, Somy shared that her ex used to beat her as that was the way he professed love to her. Somy also said Salman's beating showcased the love he had for the former actress.
