Popular Bollywood actress, Sonakshi Sinha tied the knot with the man of her dreams, Zaheer Iqbal, in an intimate civil wedding ceremony at her home on June 23, 2024. After dating for seven years, the couple took their relationship to the next level, and they decided to get married on that date due to its significance in their lives. After their wedding ceremony, Sonakshi and Zaheer hosted a lavish reception party at Bastian in Mumbai.
On June 30, 2024, the newlywed couple ventured out of their home for a quick outing. Sonakshi took her Instagram stories to share a sneak peek when they were seen walking inside a mall. While the actress was seen wearing a beige-hued outfit, her husband, Zaheer, wore an oversized shirt and trousers. However, what caught our attention was that the latter was seen carrying his wife’s sandals in his hand. Sharing the video on her IG stories, Sonakshi penned a cutesy note, which can be read as:

Sonakshi also shared her favourite picture from their wedding photoshoot, which happened before their reception party. In the picture, Zaheer was seen striking Shah Rukh Khan’s signature open-arms pose, his wife, Sonakshi, on the other hand, leaned on his shoulder while smiling ear-to-ear. Sharing the picture on IG stories, Sonakshi penned:

Days after officially announcing her wedding to Zaheer Iqbal, Sonakshi shared an adorable video that captured the raw emotions of the people who graced the ceremony. At the beginning of the video, Zaheer was seen signing their marriage certificate, while a teary-eyed Sonakshi held her father, Shatrughan Sinha’s hand. In the next clip, the actress’ friends were seen teasing their jiju and cheering for the couple.

Sharing such wholesome moments from her civil marriage ceremony, Sonakshi mentioned in her caption:
“Family, friends, love, friendship, laughter, silly comments, kids running around, happy tears, warm hugs, excitement, bloopers, screeches, fun, joy, anticipation, nerves, emotions and above all just pure happiness this was our chaotic little Shaadi ka ghar… and it was PERFECT… it was US.”
