Rhea Kapoor and Karan Boolani are childhood friends, who have dated each other for 13 long years. After their wedding speculations for many years, the childhood sweethearts are all set to tie the knot and their pre-wedding functions have become the talk of the town. It was at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding with Anand Ahuja, when the Veere Di Wedding producer, Rhea Kapoor had confirmed her relationship with Karan Boolani.
Rhea Kapoor and Karan Boolani’s pre-wedding functions have begun and the Kapoor khandaan has gathered together at Anil Kapoor’s residence in their glam avatars. From Arjun Kapoor dazzling in a blue kurta to Janhvi Kapoor slaying in a sequined and mirror worked golden lehenga, sister, Anshula Kapoor looking gorgeous in a red saree to Khushi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor looking ravishing in a yellow and orange lehenga respectively, Rhea and Karan’s pre-wedding function begun on a grand note.

After a long wait, Rhea Kapoor's sister, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja made a stylish entry with her husband, Anand Ahuja at her pre-wedding bash. Sonam Kapoor opted for a pastel blue anarkali suit with a heavily embroidered neck for her sister's pre-wedding function. She completed her look with a choker neckpiece, a huge maang teeka, a multi-coloured dupatta and a bun surrounded by gajra. Sonam entered the venue with her husband, Anand Ahuja, who twinned with her in a pastel blue kurta with blue jacket over it.
Rhea Kapoor's sister, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had landed in Mumbai from London last month and her hubby, Anand Ahuja, had joined her a few days back, and thus, it was a perfect time for Rhea’s wedding. Anil Kapoor’s residence is all lit up for the wedding festivities, and groom-to-be, Karan Boolani was also snapped by the paparazzi, visiting his sasur ji, Anil Kapoor's residence.

To mark her beau's birthday on October 6, 2020, Rhea had penned the most adorable wish for him. Taking to her IG handle, Rhea had written, "Happy birthday to my growing up partner, the relief that if I never do anything right in my life again I got the most important thing right, to the reason I got a head start to being myself, truly, the love of my life. 13 years of you is not even close to enough. I feel like we just met and I’ve known you forever. #myman."
A few months after Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding, her father, Anil Kapoor had taken to his Instagram handle and had posted a complete family picture with the caption, “A happy Sunday with the only humans that make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Celebrating yet another beautiful love story!” The picture had also featured Rhea's boyfriend, Karan Boolani. Therefore, it was pretty much clear that he is an integral part of the Kapoor clan.
In September 2020, the producer of the film, Aisha, Rhea Kapoor had revealed why the movie was special to her by sharing two pictures from the film wrap. Posting pictures of hugging her beau, Karan Boolani, Rhea had written, “Film Wrap! My first film and my first love. I was 21 when it started and 22 here. #babyproducer (Aisha, 2010).” To which, Karan had commented, “My favourite love story is ours” followed by an array of hearts.
