Sonam Kapoor is one of the most bankable actresses in the film industry. She is looked upon for her stunning fashion sense. From luxurious ensembles to statement accessories, Sonam's possessions in matters of fashion are a dream for many. Once again, as she attended the India Global Forum in London, it was her ensemble and look for the event, which didn't miss the chance to grab millions of eyeballs. And to mention, her luxe saree is indeed a piece of artwork.
On June 30, 2023, Sonam Kapoor attended the India Global Forum with author, Amish Tripathi at the Nehru Centre at South Audley Street in London and grabbed eyeballs in her royal look. For the event, she donned a regal six yards of art piece and looked no less than a queen. Afterwards, Sonam also took to Instagram and shared an array of pictures donning her resplendent saree. Along with it, she wrote:
"Went for the India global forum fireside chat with dearest @authoramish at the gorgeous Nehru Centre at South Audley street. Representing in a lovely saree by a talented designer @pankai_s_heritage."

Sonam's luxurious saree was from the brand, Pankaj S Heritage, which is symbolic for creating Museum Quality Textiles. According to celebrity stylist, Bidipto Das's post, the saree has a rich legacy of Indian textile heritage and featured gold and bronze Gulkari or Ektaar embroidery all over it. The resplendent saree is called Van Vaibhav or "Splendor of the forest". Moreover, Bidipto mentioned that the saree was embroidered using real silver and gold wires along with 108 colours of Resham in Srinagar. The base fabric is Dhakai Tissue from Murshidabad, West Bengal, and the border is real Zari Kora weaved in Varanasi. The gold bronze saree's embroidery features forest scenery, greenery, birds, and animals.
Sonam's overall look of the day was styled by her sister, Rhea Kapoor. The actress paired her saree with a round-neck blouse which also featured similar forest-inspired embroidery all over it. Along with it, Sonam carried an animal-printed shawl draped on her shoulder. Sonam accentuated her look with emerald earrings and statement rings, and let her ensemble do the rest of the magic. She completed her look with a centre-parted neatly-combed bun, thin eyeliner strokes, mauve lipstick and blushed cheeks.

Sonam is a true fashionista and thus, her wedding ensemble also didn't miss the opportunity to etch its place in fashion history. Proof of the same is found as her ensemble was displayed at the NMACC. For her wedding with Anand Ahuja in 2018, Sonam wore a bespoke red-hued lehenga from the ace designer, Anuradha Vakil's collection. Sonam's wedding outfit was indeed worthy of becoming an heirloom treasure and had taken almost six months to complete. The handwoven fabric of her lehenga choli was developed in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh, using a special gold and silk yarn. The embroidery was created using the kalabattu technique with real gold and silver threads. It was complimented with a beautiful traditional veil with lotus motifs. The price of the ensemble was around Rs. 70-90 lakhs.
