On April 27, 2022, Sonam Kapoor took to her Instagram stories and shared a video showing off her BFF and celebrity fashion designer, Masaba Gupta's maternity collection. In the video, she was seen wearing an orange-coloured front open kaftan long kurta which she paired with a white palazzo. She looked absolutely stunning and flaunted her baby bump and radiated her pregnancy glow. Atop the video, she wrote:

On April 19, 2022, Sonam Kapoor had taken to her Instagram stories and had shared a series of pictures of her BFF, Masaba Gupta's latest photoshoot for Vogue. Sharing the photos, she had lauded her with praises and had publicly demanded for some maternity clothes in the most cutesy way. In one of the shared pictures, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had written:
"She's also not made my baby bump clothes yet. I can't wait for them anymore. So I am sucking up to her publicly. Masaba Gupta where are my clothes?"

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Masaba Gupta had opened up about her thoughts on her BFF and Bollywood actress, Sonam Kapoor's good news. Talking about the same, the fashion designer had revealed that Sonam has a lot of qualities to be a perfect mom. She had said:
"It's always nice when you have known someone, since we were 10 or 11, I have known them, and it's really nice that now she is becoming a mom herself. I am very happy for her. She will make a great mom because I think she has got all the qualities in her to make a great mom. I am very happy for her and Anand. No idea, as yet. But hopefully, we will celebrate soon."
