Sonam Kapoor Ignored Shweta Bachchan, Changed Place With KJo To Skip Posing With Her, Netizens React

Sonam Kapoor is a famous actress in the Hindi film industry. The actress, in a word, rules a zillion hearts, courtesy of her masterclass acting performances, divine beauty, intelligence, and more. The diva started her career as an assistant director on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, Black. It was in 2007 when Sonam made her acting debut with the movie, Saawariya, which failed to make a notable mark at the box office. On the other hand, her movies, Neerja and I Hate Luv Storys, brought the actress a lot of fame and recognition.

Now and again, Sonam Kapoor became a target of netizens' wrath for her behaviour as she was tagged as boastful. An old video of the actress surfaced online, wherein a certain section of netizens reacted after she seemingly ignored another celebrity. The old video was from 2019, when Sonam Kapoor, Shweta Bachchan, and Karan Johar appeared as showstoppers for Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The trio set the stage ablaze with their dazzling looks for the day. Now, a video has resurfaced online, leaving fans to react to the happenings on the stage.

In the video from the event, Sonam Kapoor can be seen standing quite far on the stage, while Karan Johar and Shweta Bachchan were in front. However, all of them were seen clapping in joy. In the video, which was a compilation of several other clips, we can see Sonam and Shweta walking on the ramp while Sandeep Khosla was walking with them in the middle.

What grabbed everyone's attention was when at the end of the video, Sonam Kapoor and Shweta were seen posing while standing next to one another. In the last clip, the designers and Karan Johar seemed to push Sonam towards Shweta. However, later, Shweta came forward and posed with Sonam. A few moments later, Sonam can be seen chit-chatting with Karan Johar and changing place with him thereby sliding away from standing next to Shweta Bachchan.

As soon as the video went viral, netizens started bombarding the comment section with their opinions. Some users said Sonam made the right decision to ignore Shweta, which the latter often does with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Some other users slammed Sonam for such behaviour and called her out for her overacting. One user wrote, "Shweta Bachchan aisa same reaction aishwarya ko deti hai public main." Another user commented, "Chalo kisi ne toh shweta aunty ko attitude dikhaya. Otherwise, she is always the rude one."
